clubb699
Hi all, I was wondering if there anyone that has got some land that they want to sell at a reasonable price, about 2 or 3 acres would be great i live in the wolverhampton area so im looking for land in the West Midlands and Shropshire areas. I currently have to many hobby that requires land ( Airrifles, Model Helicopters, Radio controlled cars ) and would love some land to go and relax and play I have been looking into this for quite a few weeks but cant seem to find anything in my price range or land size that is local to me. Thanks
Oly
2 or 3 acres is pony paddock size, round us you'll be looking to pay ~£30K 8 acres recently went for in excess of £180K (no plan permission & green belt, so highly unlikely to get planning) Keep hunting though, something might come up & you might be lucky. salisburykeeper
Try this site http://www.uklanddirectory.org.uk , ive brought 3 lots of land around the country thanks to this site, there are some real bargains to be had at times, i would strongly reccomend waiting for 12 months as the market is very high and unstable at the moment and may soon drop so things will be a lot cheaper. I bought a wood for roost shooting and to dig a flight pond, worked out at 2.4k a acre.

Captain Caveman
Price per acre for woodland all depends on type, access, size and crop present. A block of high-yield pine that is at, or approaching, harvesting age will fetch much more than an waterlogged alder carr. try Tilhill.co.uk and also John Clegg as both are specialist forestry agents. Beware of government disposals- I bought a small wood from a local authority and it has that many covenants, you almost need permission to sneeze on it. Bargain price though
