ME
OK. I am sticking my head above the parapet here just because I am too lazy to do my own research. What is the difference between the Beretta Ulrika and the Extrema - apart from price ! Cheers LV
Zapp
The Extrema has a 3.5 in chamber, only comes in synth or camo (I think) and is generally set up for harder wear and tear than the Urika, particularly waterfowling. It also has some slightly different internal components I believe, such as a rotating bolt etc. Hope this gets you started.. ZB
Bigden
Urika has a 3" chamber and the Xtrema has a 3.5" chamber I have a Urika and I love it to bits
MC
They haven't yet produced a 12bore cartridge you can't fire through an Extrema, they have made several you can't use in an Ulrika.
tikkamark
I have a urika and have to say there a great gun fired thousands of carts through it and it never lets me down as the other lads have said it 'only' has 3" chambers but mine is a synthetic model and is pretty tough-the extrema has a protective coating over all exposed metal parts so wont rust as easy as the urika it also has a fairly advanced recoil dampener
mosa
ive just bought the urika 2 and its spot on
njc110381
On top of the above, the Xtrema has a long action! If you like short guns and don't need to fire big loads (3.5s) I'd get the Urika. My Xtrema felt huge, but then I like small guns because I'm a shortass
starlight32
They haven't yet produced a 12bore cartridge you can't fire through an Extrema, they have made several you can't use in an Ulrika. My extrema I cycled down to 24g banged 66g through it regular, wish I never sold it...... It my RFD could havegot me one at the start of the season when I asked I would have had another. The urika is a clay gun really, the camo finish on an extrema is harder wearing than the 391 camo finish. But then again an Extrema II is going to set you back 1100 quid, which is alot of dough for a rough gun.
