Floating Chamber
Whatever happened to these! In the early 90's they were the 'Bee's Knees'! They could be reloaded over and over again and NEVER needed resizing. Homeloaders would fight over them! (Not really, but you know what I mean!) They look all plastic but they're not. There is a thin steel rim moulded into the case. This is for extra strength and allows for extractor 'purchase' in a semi-automatic. Also, in some commercial loading machines with magnetic beds, to keep the case upright. Edit: They were excellent factory loads but VERY expensive. It is an American 'ACTIV' case. I could do with a 100k of these!!! Edited January 6, 2008 by Floating Chamber

Dunkield
Coincidently, I saw a few of these scattered on the footpath yesterday, it's hard to tell how long they had been there as they don't go rusty . . .

I have learned from several sources that the Activ case is no longer manufactured. I should have collected more in the 90's! Some things are just TOO good and are phased out!
