pavman
Hello Dear, I am Mrs Sussan Kassy from Sierra Leone. I was married to Mr.Kassy who was a contractor with the government of Cote D'Ivoire before he died in the year 2004 after few days in the hospital. The doctor said his death was as a result of poison. We were married for so many years without a child. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of $4.5 Million with a Bank .Presently this money is still in the custody of the Bank. Recently, my Doctor told me that it is very likely i will die within the next nine months due to kidney cancer problem. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to a church, organization or good person that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct herein.I want good person that will use this money for orphanages, widows and other people that need help. The Bible made us to understand that"Blessed is the hand that giveth". l took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and i don't want this money to loss in bank because i don't have a child. l know that With God all things are possible. This is why I am taking this decision.Though it was very painful to hear this kind of news from my doctor but I am not afraid of death because I know with God Althings are possible. I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord.I don't think there is need for any delay in this regard because of my health but the important thing to me is for you to do what i will require you in this regard. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact details of the bank. I will also issue a letter of authorization to the Bank that will prove you the present beneficiary of the money because of the kind of agreement my late husband had with the bank management,it's only his foreign business partner whom i shall submit to the management of the bank that has the legal right to claim this fund. Please always be prayerful all through your life.Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing another goodperson, for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I Stated herein. Hoping to receive your response immedaitely. Thanks and Remain blessed in the Lord. l remain yours sister in Christ. Mrs. Sussan kassy. Mungler
The religious element is a ticked box - I am disappointed however that the sender was neither a Rev or a Doctor. Pseudo Victorian legal speak is another ticked box - I am disappointed that there is not a give away trump card word like "falsifiability"
Highlander
personally I'd give her the benefit of the doubt (nice God fearing woman and all that) and release all pavmans (nasty doesn't believe man and all that) details to her so she can take him to the cleaners! fortune
It’s been a bit amusing with all this spamming that’s been on here lately. I had a bit of a quick look through some of these. http://www.419eater.com/html/letters.htm What sort of brain process do these scum work on. It’s about time that Microsoft and some of the nerds that hack into sites got together to stop this sort of criminal rubbish and shut them down. Highlander
I think you'll find these jerks do have some successes. They're working on the principle that 'there's one born every minute' and you've only got to look at some on here to know that's true

Pirate
I replied to one of those emails, some rich guy and all his family were wiped out in a freak locust storm or heatwave or something, and had a shed load of money. It's really simple: A little bit of 'emailing' details, sent them £2000.00 bank clearance fee, and then just sit back and wait for $5.000000. How cool is that. Mind you, that was in August 2006, so it does take some time to arrive.. Pirate: Edited January 11, 2008 by Pirate

Gordon R
Yes people do get conned, otherwise they would not persist.
