Blackbart
I forgot to mention a am a Manchester United supporter as well, family from that way, followed them since we were in the old 1st division before you start with the glory hunter and devon crud. So, i travel up 7-8 times a year, get to watch Quality prem football. I really enjoyed the spanking we gave ya!, 2 best things about Geordies 1) Alan Smith 2)Nicky Butt. You are sadly a typical man u supporter, your team are pants so you look around for who is doing well, and low and behold your auntie once went past manchester on the bus so you can justify supporting them cos she almost got off the bus  While in the toon everybody supports newcastle, good or bad.You will be hard pushed to find a geordie who supports any other team! Typical Geordies, we are a huge club, we should be competing with united,Arsenal,Chelsea, Cant see that happening in a hurry.

Cranfield
Despite it being on Setanta, there will be a full house there and I bet the atmosphere will be magic. All he needs now is to get the right result and they should do against Bolton. I will be watching.
Bazooka Joe
I will keep watching and waiting to re open this thread again. We have the mighty Plymouth Argyle, great little club, we dont cry when things dont go our way, more importantly we have expectations relative to the size of the club, we do NOT think we are bigger and better than we really are. And yes, we love clotted cream/pasties, go get get yourself a Burger a bottle of brown to comfort yourself when Sunderland/borough do you. I know where Newcastle is, but where's PlyMOUTH Argyle at ......................Ya Got Ta LAUGHT.........I ask ya, Plymouth The Town's BUZZING, BJ. Second half possesion..Newcastle.80% bolton 20% but having said that they played for a point and got it so well done.

Lost Magpie
Surely geordies only get upset when they run out of broon / the dole office is shut. Sums it up that they were expecting 30000 tonight but when someone read them the news it was a sell out. Aspiring to 13th place in the prem ? Thats really what a big club dreams of, "ooh, lets aim for mid table mediocrity, we are big enough to have twelve teams above us". Big club my dogs bottom, and before you whinge I dont support a prem team, I do know that having lots of fans does not a big team make, if that was the case Man ure would win everything that chelski dont. Relegation may be avoided, mores the pity but big team ? Saw my team spank NUFC and we only took 500 to yours, still outsang you though. I only bait the hooks girls Shouldn't have really read on after that tbh, shows your small minded mentality. You are however correct that we aren't a big club because we haven't been successful for a long time but for some strange reason the whole country has been obsessed with us since BS was sacked so read into that what you will. And the southern media continue to be obsessed with us whether it's good or bad news they're reporting. Basically ******** it imo in case we do eventually do something as they know with the fan base we have if we were to break the top four etc we'd be on par with Man utd and Chelsea financially Would Man City, Everton, Villa etc get the same coverage.....I very much doubt it. P.S Jonno are you a inbred mackem? It seems so Edited January 21, 2008 by Lost Magpie
