ShaggyRS6
This is what my £200 got me. I rekon its nice. Just one question. I seem to have two straps hanging down from the roof on the last pic. Any idea where they go?
Cranfield
Are the straps to hold the roof cover if you take it off ? You need to go out and get that seriously muddy, it look awful. (Actually, it looks like £200 well spent )

dusk2dawn
Looks good and you did well to get that done for £200, all you need to do now is paint the chequering with matt hammerite, it looks the biz and is non reflective D2D
Mungler
Lee would be interested to see what the paint looks like in 6 months. If it's still altogether you should post the details of the spray shop and congratulate yourself on £200 well spent. Billy bargain.
ShaggyRS6
YTeah will let you know. He put 4 Coats on it to make sure He even done the inside of the bonnet to my ammazement. He said he would not touch it and we had discussed me hammerite'ing it. So I was well chuffed when I got home, lfted the bonnet to begin the hammerite painting, and it was done. I touched up the rubber along the back door this evening that you can see is yellow, i done it with a cheap artisit brush. I will roller the bits he could not do along the rear door edges that are hidden by the Tarp Roof, inside, I think all I will do it rub down and Hammerite it black. Good tip on the plating. I guess wire brush then Matt Black spray can? Those dangly bits then, I just tuck them away? This is what it looked like Edited January 26, 2008 by ShaggyRS6

I brush painted mine to make sure plenty went into the pattern it also save masking tape which might just pull your soft paint off., it will need touching up over time so a can and brush is better imo, Iwirebrushed it then cleaned with white spirit. Clark539
cant complain for £200! Definetly cool for £200. Incedently i work for the MOD and weve got plenty of landys. The straps attach above the windscreen to keep the canopy on. Hope it helps.

ShaggyRS6
Thanks Carbine. I have been told by the group of 5 guys that were ogglin it when I went to pick it up that it would easily make £2000 if not £2500 now. Which is amazing. Not sure if they were pulling my leg.
