HEAD SHOT Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 (edited) I AM NEW TO RUNNING AN AMATEUR SHOOT. I HAVE BEEN ADVISED TO PUT DOWN SOME GRIT WITH THE FEEDERS AND WATER TRAYS. WHAT TYPE OF GRIT DO YOU USE? WILL THE QUARTZ GRIT THAT YOU SEE ON THE GROUSE MOORS BE OK. YOUR COMMENTS PLEASE........ I find that pheasants go on roads this time of the year, mainly because they like to nest on the road side verges, i rarely see my poults on the road trying to get grit after release.
