henry d
It was an early start all round as Newb and his Dad set off to the `shire for their first days woodpigeon shooting. Dad and me left newb at the farm to close the gate and when we got to the field there were pigeon dropping from the trees and when we got within a few metres they got up ............200 or so But as all things pigeon orientated, they didn`t quite play ball, we set up the hide and deeks and then the rotor and settled down..... queue the pigeons coming in before we had sat down, can you guess how many dropped after the first fusilade ?? yep .....none After a quick word about hide etiquette and wearing a hood/hat we got off to a better start even with the unknown arena of the pigeon hide. Noob had a good few hits until Dad got a nice jackdaw and then a good going woodpigeon then it was the quiet time and we packed up after a long lunch and a natter(blether !!) about all things shooting. Cheers Guys I had a top day and will look back on it for many fond memories......... mainly to do with a lime spreader and a heap of pigeon we never saw Just off to have a word with Mr. Jack ??? Cranfield
Nice one H. I have heard that to maintain his Forum image, H has insisted that in payment Newbie has to hand over his first born.

Suffolk shooter
Well done HD, Nice to see new people get given the opportunity. Nice bag for their first time out. I reckon going by the smiles on their faces, you have them hooked and they have probably spent all night on the net looking for new gear. Top man.
