Flashman
What sort of crowd is expected? Is there a good traveller turnout or can I leave my car unguarded in safety?
Pedro
Very safe, loads of locals. This one hasn't been so well publiscised, so the turn out wont be as big as the one later in the year, therefore parking wont be such a nightmare. If you do go, wrap up VERY well, 'cos it's very exposed and blows a hooly normally. Mung, it's a couple of miles from Four Acres, in fact you could hear them shooting when I went last year. I think the 1st race is at 1300 and the whole day's great fun. P.

More info @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_to_point_racing It's a good day out for all the family As said brilliant day out for all the family, beertent, bookies, popcorn and candyfloss..... well at ours anyway  Run by the local hunt, most are ordinary hunting horses ridden by farmers and gals, who fancy themselves as grand national jocks, the aim of the day is to provide funds for the hunt so support it if you can. Ive had a go at this....... once, ended up on my ***** laughing my socks off:lol:  D2D
AVB
I've been to the High Easter Point to Point a few times. Last couple have been a bit of a let down. Large race cards but they nearly all pull out/don't turn up leaving 2-3 in the race. Andrew
