MM
paid a visit to a place called Stapley Water Gardens today with the gang, and had a nose round the fishing "emporium" (bloody huge room). anyway, they had a line of Realtree coats and pants and after having a good feel and trying them for size, i thought id take the plunge and buy one... until i saw the price ,,,,, nearly £100 for some of em.. cant pay that for a coat thats going to get less action than the wife. so, over to fleabay, just found one in my size (FB) for a total of £27.50. realy made up. Well I paid £180 for my musto Jacket and you can walk through bramble hawthorn without it ripping. Its does not make a noise when moving and is really warm with a fleece. You get what you pay for. MM
i understand your point DF, but ive found this not always to be true. i had the same problem with fishing kit, some of it really well thought of, and then once you have give it a few outings, it falls apart. ill give this coat a try, and it might be a load of junk, then again, it might be just what im looking for. stay tuned. al4x
I've had a deer hunter fleece realtree jacket for close on 10 years cost me £100 and has lasted far better than the musto jacket I got that was £300 list price. Its had about 4 seasons of beating as well, warm stays dry in all but the worst rain and breathes far better then the musto so you don't sweat too much
