shooternick
Shot 67 today picked 62 on rape, nice wind blowing, snow showers and very cold had a look on the drillings but nothing doing just about to go home but thought i would check out one of my other permissions saw about 400-500 pigeons on one corner so i set up near to where they were. Sport was constant for about 3 hours then tailed off. They even decoyed in the heavy snow showers. Great day good sport

shooternick
I used 7 sportplast full bodied and 6 sportplast shells no magnet although i usually use one i just couldnt be bothered to carry it all, the pigeons seemed like they knew where they wanted to feed and a magnet wouldnt have made much difference i dont think, I think its more right time right place. HeadShotHoncho
Yay , someone got a big bag without using £100 worth of gear. My deeks only arrived today, got 4 decent full-bodied but i've got to shoot with no crop which is why i bought such a small amount cosi'm not sure wether it'll work or not. Great shooting, keep it up, HSH
shooternick
Good on you HSH it doesnt have to cost a fortune to shoot pigeons you know, i know of people who even pay a small fortune to get permission never mind buy the kit!! HeadShotHoncho
I have now spent £34 on my gear, 4 deeks and a camo net, i've yet to get a permission but am hoping to find where the pigeons are feeding and then enquire about shooting HSH
