agusta
I've just got back from the docs, had blood tests and ECG. They found a problem but they cant 100% confirm until the blood tests come back. They also said I have high blood pressure which could be stress related. Just wondering is my shotgun cert safe, I know the plod can revoke your cert if your depressed etc. How about stress/blood pressure? Any advice appreciated,

al4x
at the moment you are fine, stress is very different to depression and at the moment they haven't treated you for anything. There are really good blood pressure tablets out there these days that work really well and should have no bearing on your license. They only tend to cause problems if you have a history of depression or mental illness as thats when people have this nasty habbit of topping themselves
garyb
I should think you would be fine, all depend on your local lot and how they view your circumstance. FWIW I've even, known of people having been detained at her majesty's pleasure and still having an SGC
Evil Elvis
You have NO worries at all, people with angina and other heart conditions etc are allowed to carry on sgc, a bit of hypertension isnt going to affect anything at all.

No problem at all, you don't even have to notify HQ.

njc110381
I wouldn't worry about it. Loads of people get stress. It's not even close to depression, which is what they're really worried about. Just because you're a little p***ed off with work, doesn't mean your going to do anything silly
Paul223
They also said I have high blood pressure which could be stress related. Do more shooting, very relaxing and energetic at the same time
