As Ahrv says, if I find myself in Smiffs or Tesco's :good: I will grab the Shooting Times, if there is more than one good article I will buy it, other than that it goes back in the rack. I have had subsciptions to most, but now have none, as Bob says they all repeat themsleves.

I have about 10 years worth of Trout & Salmon mags + a load of other fishing/shooting mags in the loft, apparently one of my jobs over the summer is 'sort that lot out' :good:

I recon the Sporting Shooter is as good as any of them. The shooting times is ok , but some of the writers have not got a clue what they are talking about and its to right wing in its editorial. I could not beleve an article on shooting straight in Shooting Gazzete where one gun says he takes his shooting instructor with him on driven days. O how the other half live :good:

I cant understand why but stories about a days shooting are out of fashion nowadays. Most of the articles are about the latest pheasant feeder ( that 90% of will never use ) or some article for beginers , such as which way to put the shells into the chamber. The editors seem to forget most of their readers know how to shoot.
