Well done John :good: just shows...you don,t get them if your sitting at home...warm and dry

Cheeky cheating *** :yp:

Second bit is right though, you get them when it's dark, raining and you've got a chest infection  Farmer is leaving over eggs and an envelope today, said about 1,000 times I didn't want payment, she's had enough losses with the lambs so that envelope will go to a local hospice or cancer charity

Excellent write up and excellent gesture with the donation to charity, well done john :good:

Hi Mark,

No 3.5 inch BB's to be got anywhere near me. I was using 36gram BB's that I got in Scullys in Athlone ages ago. I have to say they're good, they usually drop a fox first shot, it was my own fault that didn't happen this time, I'm fairly sure I stopped my swing on the first shot. Too much rifle shooting! Not much skill involved in what I did last night. But, the lad I go lamping with he's been at it for years. All he has is a side by side, a lamp and battery. He can stalk them :good: Great to see him in action to be honest.

Thanks for all the nice comments to everyone who's replied

A chap i know in longford sells them,i never even fired a 3.5" out of my extrema yet if i could get my hands on a barrel bracket i would use the shotgun a bit more on charlie as sometimes you can call them in real close but 95% of the time the rifle is more appropriate
