tikkamark
Another top class write up john you have a fair talent for writing, reading that feels like we were there with you It takes fair skill to get them into range for the shottie Just out of interest did you use 3.5" shells to knock her? tikkamark
Hi Mark, No 3.5 inch BB's to be got anywhere near me. I was using 36gram BB's that I got in Scullys in Athlone ages ago. I have to say they're good, they usually drop a fox first shot, it was my own fault that didn't happen this time, I'm fairly sure I stopped my swing on the first shot. Too much rifle shooting! Not much skill involved in what I did last night. But, the lad I go lamping with he's been at it for years. All he has is a side by side, a lamp and battery. He can stalk them Great to see him in action to be honest. Thanks for all the nice comments to everyone who's replied A chap i know in longford sells them,i never even fired a 3.5" out of my extrema yet if i could get my hands on a barrel bracket i would use the shotgun a bit more on charlie as sometimes you can call them in real close but 95% of the time the rifle is more appropriate
