Millomite
Finally bit the bullet and got myself a 52 plate frontera, only done 45k. Half leather interior, blacked out windows and heated seats, luxury!!! With loads of room for my dogs and shooting gear
Wookie
Yay! Another Fronty owner on the board!. I have one as well (W reg, rust, bits missing) in the same colour (apparently) as yours. What engine do you have in it?
Millomite
It's the 2.2tdi engine mate. It's the olympus model. Picked up for £5k

Wookie
Same engine as mine then. Good choice. Just watch out for the speedo dials not working properly... There's an easy fix for that though.
Millomite
What do you mean by not working? Not displaying the correct speed or not moving at all? Does your fuel gauge needle jump about a bit?
Wookie
There's a "known" fault caused by flex in the circuit board for the dash that is caused by pressing the trip reset. It can cause a solder track or two to break giving a dry joint. Mine happened about a year ago (rev counter used to jump a bit, then the speedo stopped working properly/at all). So, I took the dash off and got a friend to resolder the trip reset tracks and now it all works again. Nothing to worry about, seriously. But, the diesel leak-off pipes were a challenge... I think those are the only two common issue the B Series has and, to be honest, the leak-off pipes were not really much of a hassle to fix on my own.
