sambo1
A recent box of 12g cartridges contained one that didnt drop in to the barrels as normal - I had to push it in to place. I'm assuming there may have been too much shot in the cartridge as it was it was a little bloated around the top. If I come across this kind of thing in the future, are cartridges that I have to push into place safe to use? Apologies in advance if its a bit of a daft question - I would rather play it safe. njc110381
Sometimes they just have a pellet or two sticking out a little. Give it a push on something hard and they will fit safely. If it's really out of shape cut it open and tip the contents, it's not worth the risk

bob300w
One in a box of 25? Chuck it, any more than a couple, take them back to the shop where you purchased them.
Gordon R
What make are they? Not had any problem in recent years, but I foolishly bought some Rottweill many years ago. Most mis-shapen shells ever.
