Zapp
The same thing happened where I was living in Lincs during the last big oil strike (99/2000 ish). The garage in question hiked his prices, and then promptly went out of business once it was over. Good riddance to the profiteering *****rd! radio1ham
well now that is greed i also see it on the late news last night and i thought christ they are wanting to get rich quick nearly 2 quid a litre i hope that the garages selling at them stupid prices get boycotted and closed down as they deserve it i know we live in rip off britain but dont you think they are going to far with them prices that means on average it will cost around a 100quid maybe more to fill up for the average car double to what it shoud cost so in a word i feel sorry for the people that have to pay them prices as some of them will need the fuel and maybe the only place they can get it from ive looked on ebay and people are buying yes used cooking oil to make their own diesel as alot of people are buy the processers to make the bio diesel down the south and good luck to them making it only wish i had the cash and somewhere to make it my self maybe someone is making it near me in the north east if so drop me a message please

Wookie
He's just been on Radio 2 talking about why he did it... Apparently it was to restrict sales and he actually gave a £14 quid off voucher for MoTs to people that bought fuel. By my reckoning, he's quids in from about 50 litres plus per person. He also nicely dodged the question about donating the extra profits to charity now that supplies are back.
2shots
All he needed to do was restrict the amount he sold £30 max same as others, but greed allways takes over,I hope the killing he made kills his business and if the stations a lease job the damage hes done to the owners wont be going down well today.
