scifiden
posted my sgc renewal/fac application on the 7th July this year. Had letter yesterday to make arrangements for the FAO visit this thursday. That makes it just under three months. Take from this what you will but I am not going to say to much in case my FAO is on here

Psyxologos
I had my visit today. The officer said he has no problem at all issuing my licence. He asked me nevertheless to have an hour's tuition on gun safety, cleaning etc. I am happy. any suggestions about who I should ask for this session? Lancaster or Blackpool area please! nickb
Try your local clay ground, or contact BASC for a "shotgun safety course" (Lantra) I did one last year, covered all the basics. ATB Nick
Fuji Shooter
Finally got mine today (Gloucestershire) took around 14 weeks in total. FAO said it was mainly due to a portion of the team being moved last year to flooding duties. Oh well - shops open at 9am guess where I am going.. JR1960
Haven't had a grant or renewal for a couple of years but we've never had any trouble with Norfolk, never had to wait more than a couple of weeks, for SGC or FAC although i think they had a bad patch a few years ago, luckily i missed it. They were great with my boy when he applied for his SGC at the ripe old age of 8, no problem at all.
