mike.c
plastics cheaper but depends where you are shooting (some places have to have fibre)
Salop Matt
Buy fiber and then you dont have the worry if your able to use them on differing grounds.
MJN
for clays, I use lyalvale express 28g 7.5 plastic super comps, not the cheapest but excellent performance. M. Edited September 5, 2008 by MGMan

Zapp
Buy fiber and then you dont have the worry if your able to use them on differing grounds. I've found the lyalvale range to be a mixed bag - some I have liked very much (they do some very nice 2 1/2 inch .410), and others I havent liked so much. Give them a try, you will find something you like. My fave carts for clays are whatever is cheapest and in number 8's. ZB
bazguevara
Get some Just Cartridges CSP fibre wad ones. Exactly the same as Lyalvale Express (World Cup I think) and about £40 cheaper per 1000.
Floating Chamber
Anything out of Lyalvale does me! (but then, I am biased!)
Whitebridges
Tried the new 21g, 7.5 shot, 12 bore load (plastic wad) at High Lodge (Suffolk) last Thursday. Purchased from Richardsons at Halesworth for £29.50 a brick (250). Gobsmacked at how good they are.
Northerner
I have started to use these myself (28g 7.5 plastic wad) and they are very nice to shoot they are not the cheapest but do the job very well
