SPARKIE
over the weekend i decided to go out shooting so jumped on the quad with my shotgun and drove down to the wheat fields.got there and the combine was on it ******.so went over to weston for a look to see if they had cut the wheat .they hadnt so took the quad round the edge of the field and decided to go for a walk. was walking round when about 15 partridge took flight out of the wheat managed a pair and was well chuffed did a bit more walking and shot a pigeon and a crow. yesterdayi decided to make a gun rack i had some stainless steel pipe from work so set about making a rack went to b&q for the straps and the pipe lagging.took me a few hours welding and cutting but the finished result looks great.last night took the quad out lamping on the freshly cut field and managed 3 rabbits and a fox all taken with the 17hmr the fox was taken at around 80 yards through the fore head.made his eyes bulge out.im gonna try get out again tonight to get the rest as i saw a few about anyhow heres the pics. We also shoot a few English as we have a lot about but I know a lot of shoots its frowned on to try and increase the breeding population

Tis coming up to that time of year now where we can only really get round our land on a quad so i'm looking for something which manages quite well. However, the price of a new one aint that cheap. Are parts readily available for the sym one? Was it dealer bought or ebay/private? Cheers mate. henry d
FWIW - you topped a fox and a crow and therefore a brace of English Partridge was adequate remuneration IMHO. Nice rack
