Going to Be Cheeky.

Recommended Posts

Well new to the site but am going to jump in at the deep end.

I have been shooting for awhile now but clays. I have just moved to the Heathfield area of Sussex and have been very lucky to have got the use of about 150 acres of farm land owned by a relative. I have had a couple of goes on the pigeons but i have to be completly honest it was a complete disaster.

Now i am not going to say that i was the greatest shot at clays but i was nt that bad, but at the real thing i was well rubbish. I never got close.

I really want to now learn all i can about where i am going wrong with the shooing side firstly and then the decoying side of pigeons.

Now for the cheeky part. I am not going to ask anyone if they are prepared to take me as a novice on to their land but am going ask if there is anyone in my neck of the woods who would be prepared to meet me and maybe come along to the ground i have and give me a few pointers.

I would be prepared to collect them give them a good nosh up and of course a few drinks would no doubt be induldged afterwards and then my good lady would take you home.

I know this is a lot to ask me being a novice but as i say if you dont ask you dont get.

Thanks

Tommy

Hi and

It makes a great change for someone with land asking for help, normally its someone wanting to go on other peoples permissions. Its a pity you are not closer to me as i would be happy to give you some pointers, and maybe swap a few days on my permissions. But i think your good lady may not want to drop me back to Cornwall.

Good luck

Hey Tommy, how did you get on with your offer??

I'm new to the 'game' and wondered where your permission stretched to with your relatives. I'm in Brighton and looking to bring a few rabbits to dinner occasionally.

Pop us a quick email if you can to discuss further.

regards

Kevin

No, rereead, he wants to go on your land.

Welcome, i'm not from round your area, so I can't help

No he doesn't. He has land and wants pointers on it from someone in the area.
