Pete, where are you shooting next weekend?

I think I have a Saturday morning pass as well as the normal Sunday pass. I was either going to shoot some clays or wallop a deer on the farm.

Whatcha upto then?

Probably JJ's on the Sunday I guess... or whatever the general consensus is. :hmm: Quite liking trying other grounds, I think I'm free on Sat so looking for something out of the usual. Got any plans yet? You must be bored of JJ's by now? lol.... not fussed really.

and to think you were going to do birds only until i took the ****

Yes, thanks Dave, I owe you severel cups of Tea and Bacon rolls, oh and plenty more insults and abuse. :hmm:

:good: My day gets better.

**Edit** Just called them, someone stuck in a 76 at the end to win, so my 75 got 2nd and a mere £25. Still, happy with that.

Pete

Something must have changed again - you're down as high gun in C - perhaps the 76 you mentioned got bumbed up to B or A !!!!!

Went out to Llandegla this afternoon for the first time with Timps and met up with Beretta there.

They didn't have the usual selection of sporting stands on so we made use of a couple of the FITASC layouts left over from last weekends comp there.

After an initial baptism of fire (that lasted a little longer than i would have liked) and a round of skeet, i started to settle into things and shoot well.

Definitely a learning day and time well spent

Thanks to Beretta and Timps for an enjoyable afternoon :hmm:

90/100 at Dartford today. Annoying this was that I was straight until stand 8 then had my first trigger freeze for ages on the first bird of the 2nd pair then starting missing the 2nd bird for the remaining 4 pairs. So skipped the easy stand 9 and did another 10 of the single bird I was having problems with. Could have ended on a 96/100 if I'd shot stand 9. ******.

Still happy though. :good:

Good darts there Pete

Thanks Andy. It seems slightly easier there this time. There was a big corporate shoot there two weeks ago, and Stand 1 moved down a bit for a very easy pair. So I think that it's not quite as it seems.

I did. :good: I'll try and pop along there on Sun to grab me prize money. :good::yes: I'll check the scores and if they seem doable I might enter again. :good:

Call me a nerd if you like Pete!!! But a quick check on the calculator shows you having an average of 74.4% - bang on A class :good:

Hmmm.....I've done the same excercise.... 74.3% Hopefully they don't round up and just take one decimal place :good:

It would be a bit harsh to scrape into A Class by the smallest possible margin. I'm also guessing that they might adjust the % limits come the end of the year, upwards so it may change to 75% for A. Hopfully. :hmm:

OOOhhhhh...... look what I just found on the CPSA Website.

**Calculated ‘adjusted’ averages are truncated to 1 decimal place and not rounded, such as this case where 80.75% will be recorded as 80.7%.

Dave, I'm still B class at the mo according to the quote above. I quite like it in B Class with you.:good: Besides, I don't know how long this form will last....probably not long so I need to make hay whislt the sun shines. :good::hmm:
