mosa
i was waiting for the un couth comments and you lot didnt fail .. I should have known better than to ask this. I did a search after henryd replied so i was ready!!!!! a mincer at most is what it states with the odd exception up here but i see where your coming from. Up here in the PROPPER north we have other terminology for those unfortunate to interfear with the brown stuff!!!!!!!!!!eeh did i really say that? all i want is a contraption to make some burgers (dont even elaborate on that) :o

Aye like hermas, marmite miners, colon-congregators, gentlemen who like to saunter down Bournville Boulevard, and poo-pushers.
Lord Geordie
Mosa! To be fair the hand operated type are OK but can be a bit of work when your there for a while! You are by FAR better to go for the electric type when they come available for decent money! I bought on from ALDI for about £35 and it came with all the attatchments for grinding the meat (coarse and fine) and the sausage filling tube the whole hopper is alloy and a doddle to strip and clear when finished. Keep your eyes open in ALDI and LIDL and perhaps even NETTO and you can find them in their leafelets now and then! fleabay have a one similar to mine (same manafacturer) it's about £60 inc the postage comes with stuffing tube etc brand new the item# is 150312635984 Hope you find what your looking for LG Edited January 6, 2009 by Lord Geordie
rayo
Bought an old hand mincer with sausage tube attachment at Cramlington market ( the car boot part ) for £3.00 and it seems to do me fine mind you i only make a couple of pound of sausages at a time . You should have a look around on a Wednesday morn you never know what might turn up.
