Wookie
I have two cousins that live in Texas. I keep meaning to go visit them, but never seem to get round to it. Maybe next time I am over in FtL for work I can take Mrs. Wookie with me and we can take an extra week to go over and spend some time with them. pavman
Father in law has a holiday home in Atlanta his wife is a local went there about 3 years back, not very impressed you can carry a gun on the streets but cant get a beer due to Bible bashers,,,,, you would think they would ban guns first and work down to beer
LeeinVA
Hi,my wife is from NewHampshire, have brother in laws, sister inlaw and mother in law in NH, sister inlaw and husband in Maine, brother in law and wife in Alaska, sister in law in Oregon, nieces and nephews all over the place. Was in Maine and NH last October visiting family came home with a Track of the Wolf kit for an Isaac Hayes flintlock. Would go more often but 30 hours door to door is not pleasant (nor is the ticket price) Cheers Track of the Wolf.. I have been there many times as a younger lad.. wasnt too far from my boyhood home.. The kits are meant for a true expert and i just have never gotten around to ordering one myself, and yes they are bloody expensive
macca
Love shooting black powder, sure helps your offhand shooting when hunting. You should see the piece of curly maple that came with the kit - just awesome worth every cent I paid for the kit. We have a very strong blackpowder club where I live and a couple of expert builders to help with the gun. Cheers

John_R
Yup, my Dad is American, born in NJ. Sadly my Grandmother passed just last month at 97 years of age and I was stuck in Spain on a contract so could not go over. The funeral was arranged so fast I don't think I would have made it even without the Spain thing in the way. So, that leaves mostly Cousins-once-removed and twice-removed there now, mostly in NJ but loads of friends spread all over. I'll be visiting cousins in SC for a couple days en-route to working in Vegas at Easter.

mudpatten
Loads of second cousins once or twice removed all over the US and Canada. The trouble is, that I`m aware of them, but can`t say I know them personally. Unfortunately I missed the last family visit of the US contingent about ten years ago when six of `em visited for a fortnight. On the other hand, my wife`s American branch of the family visited en mass about three months ago and hired a large guest house locally for a clan reunion. There were twenty of them and 110 from this side of the water.(They`re a big family!)
