kennym
Let me start by saying that I'm no expert & this is just my opinion. In the last two days I have covered 400 miles and a lot of gun shops, receiving a mixed bag in levels of service I had more or less because of my personal situation decided on a Urika 2 or an M2 comfortec, when I phoned Weldon gun room ( WHO BY THE WAY WERE ABOUT THE CHEAPEST IN THE COUNTRY ) Steve said we have both come & try them. I said to him I had already shouldered them both & was favoring the benelli So he said what did they shoot like?.......silence.....You mean I can shoot them?..... yeah sure,..... I was in the car for the 75 mile drive 9am this morning So without wanting to see my ticket or make sure I was serious or say stuff like you can only shoot if you will buy one, they set up the clay launcher out the back over a lovely valley & I was shooting both guns back to back, This was key to me getting the right gun, one of the things I loved about the benelli, the high rib with the ramp on it was horrible for me to shoot, and even with the care that had been taken to reduce recoil on this gun next to the urika it was like a canon,.... it wasn't in reality but there was a marked difference, and with someone ME who had a shoulder opp 4 weeks ago this was key of course the other thing was my hit rate missed only the first out of 10 with the urika compared with 4 for the benelli Both guns are great the Urika just suited me better...... BUT until I shot them the benneli was the way I was heading The boss other Steve, talked me through the technicality's of each gun, gave me his opinion but didn't try to steer me into any thing, he spent a lot of time & no stupid question was to stupid, he also tried to sort out my rubbish technique. When it came to doing the deal it was simple & straight forward, they weren't hard on me I have to say, I am tight..... I'm a car dealer & paying full price breaks my heart but because of the fact I new UK prices have shot up & they were easily the cheapest advertised price for either of these guns I was able to hold back my (car dealer) urges.....Ok they did throw some stuff in but I didn't have to ask I just didn't want to bid them down or even try (I can't belive I said that) I was taught that you don't buy of salesmen you buy of friends thats how you feel with these guys & it works In my job we say to customers...... IF IT LOOKS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE .....IT IS,.... well as yet I just don't see the catch GOOD CRACK.... GOOD ADVICE...... GOOD SERVICE .... GOOD FACILITYS.... EQUALS THE BEST GUN SHOP I'VE EVER BEEN TO Thanks To all concerned They're on gun trader, but are currently working on a website, when its up & running expect national domination

markm
As I have said on your previous post, I rate them very highly. But don't ask about their RFD 2 RFD costs, they are the most expensive in the world. Tried to charge me [COUGH] £50 when posting a shotgun recently. peter-peter
you made a good choice the urika is the best auto on the market and will recycle down to hushpowers.(subsonics) it will give you many years of trouble free service. I coach on corporate shoots and last year put 15,000 cartridges through mine. it only failed to recycle half a dozen times probably due to weakly loaded cartridges. nice and light minimal recoil unlike the whack of a benelli. you will love it. And (i think)that was for the gun you were going to transfer Maybe they were doing it cos i was buying a rifle of them I have not been to a better gunshop.Even when i bought the 22-250 i was undecided which mod to put on it and they said no probs,we will screw cut it then just come up and try some different mods and fire a few rounds and then choose the one that you want. They also mounted my scope and bore sighted it and also adjusted my trigger right down All FOC So yes i have nothing but good things to say about weldon gun room. They wanted a £25 admin fee and £25 for the courier. It was the girl who was serving. When I jumped up and down they agreed to put it down to £35, which still included a £15 admin fee. Was it worth them doing that? Well I was going to spend £1K on a teknys then I decided not to.

Bought my cheapo escort from them, it cost £25 for them to RFD to mine, and that wasn't a £1k gun, i found them very efficient, only prob was they forgot to include the chokes, but they got them out as soon as they could. they aint bad at all, although i was buying a cheap second hand SG they were very professional, and polite. yep i rate them well
