How to disguise pigeon??

My dads partner is from Birmingham and we are from herefordshire.

When she comes down she tends to eat mostly what we eat when we shoot it... Well so far we have got her eating pheasant, duck, partridge and rabbit.

The other week i shot 7 pigeons and casseroled 3 of them, but when we gave it her she reluctantly took a bite off the leg and ran to the bathroom to spit it out.

she said all she can associate it with is the diseased ones on the Brummy hight streets and just the thought of it makes her feel sick.

I thought about just cutting it up and putting it in something like a curry but as she suspects that i am going to do this she may check the colour of the meat.

Any ideas??

Thanks

best thing to do is take her shooting so she can see the pigeons arent like the ones she knows, but whatever you do dont try and disguise it on her. someone once did that to me with black pudding when i was younger, tasted ok at the time but as soon as they said what it was i started throwing up all over the place. she hasnt got a problem with the taste of the meat, just the thought of it, so try to show her this is different. if it doesnt work, so what? theres plenty of stuf i still refuse to eat (most vegetables for a start...)

ask her what she would like on the menu well before (1week 2week) and then cook , over the meal discuse your likes (pigeon rabbit venison etc) dont try and force your desired menu onto her, her likes and dislikes are bound to be differant :D
