starlight32
should have been out years ago, theres far worse people getting lighter sentances than 30 yrs. Agreed. But we must alway remember a crime against the establishment is always considered far worse than any murder, mugging, rape or assault inflicted on another human being. njc110381
I am good friends with a chap who was the govenor at the prison he was held at a long time ago. My friend is retired now but I have heard quite a lot about this guy. From what I can make of it he only knocked the guard down because he was being difficult - and had no intention of killing him rather just getting him out of the way at the time. I think he should be left alone now. He's done his time and there are much worse people out there that are released in far less time than this. Markio
I think he should be left alone now. He's done his time and there are much worse people out there that are released in far less time than this. Has he done his time? I thought he hadn't? Assuming he was a well man and he had actually fulfilled his time and is eligible for parole then let him go, but release/parole on the basis that he's ill it doesn't wash with me i'm afraid. But yes, there are worse people out there doing less time but that's hardly a point of comparison is it? It means the others should get their time extended, not the other way around? Supersonic
He was a 2nd tier hanger-on criminal. In todays courts he would have got 5 years and out in 2.
