AndyCM
I have only used Lee & Redding. Once I used the Redding the Lee stuff went in the bin. Both do the job, I just prefer the Redding mix, more like oil (the Lee is like tooth paste) Cheers AndyCM
macca
Hornady lube liquid on a lube pad - works a treat. Hornady lube wax when forming cases. Cheers
Andy H
One of the best brass case forming and sizing lubricants, and general purpose forming/swaging/extreme load lubricants, is STP Oil Treatment.
wymberley
I only re-size the neck so dont need any.
Guest RemmySPS
The thing about Lee is that it can be mixed with water. I have a great way to lube my cases that just involves a sponge; the sort you buy to do the washing up with (it has the green Scotch pad on one side). I wet the sponge and then apply a dab of Lee lube to the surface and then squeeze it in. Then just roll a couple of cases over the surface and set them aside to dry (a couple of minutes). Then I just re-size them as usual. One dab of lube will do 100 cases easily. I have had a tube for a couple of years and it don’t come any cheaper than that and I’ve NEVER had a stuck case either.
Doggone
Lyman Qwik Spray Case Lube, non messy, quick, you can let it dry or not. Only been reloading about a year, but I wouldn't even bother to try anything else because this does what it says on the tin, I've reloaded about a thousand 22/250 and the can still feels full. Guest RemmySPS
Yup! Very good, but it is petroleum based, whereas the Lee stuff is water based and can be wiped off with the damp rag (and it only cost me £1.75)
njc110381
I'm going to try the water trick wih my Lee lube. Until I read that I was going to reply with a moan about how it's hard to use! Nice idea, cheers for sharing it with us
