Labour are going to be under more pressure this term from the other parties- they also have lots of big promises to keep, at the same time as managing the economy. So long as they do nothing terminal in this term to fieldsports I think we'll be stronger for them winning this. I can't wait to see them mess up. The_Craws Posted May 6, 2005 Report Share Posted May 6, 2005 I dont care who knows it: I voted UKIP. Labour were always going to get back in and I personally wont vote for any pro-EU party. There was some footage at the polls last night when they interviewed some pensioner and she said something along the lines of: "I vote labour because of Churchill, labour were very good during the war" Firstly: labour was in coalition with the conservatives! Secondly: that was OLD LABOUR who were a bunch socialists! And finally: Churchill was the leader of the Tories! The country is going to fall flat on its face now we have labour in for a third term. The young really need to get off their ***** and vote because the way its going that gives the minority of old people 2/3s of the voting power. You could argue that it doesnt matter how many people vote because it is representative of the majority but you could also argue that the young dont have the same things in mind while voting.
