Beardo
you could get a muzzle brake instead...

Dunkield
Get hold of UKNeil on the BBS he will make you one to your own spec very reasonably. It will also tame the vicious muzzle blast from that rifle
MC
I have got a brand new silencer that will do want want. All you have do is remove the baffles from it and then it is a faxe supressor.
al4x
stupid question but if its on a FAC then even an empty sound mod that looked like a mod might be something that got you in deep doo doo. You'd have to prove it wasn't a mod when it looked like one, think I'd just keep it as is until a variation went in Edited May 15, 2009 by al4x

Or can you not get a mod when you just do range stuff?? This was where I thought Helath & Safety actually works sensibly in the shooters favour? Mind the gun in question is a .22 though
al4x
its fine to have a mod if you have a slot for it but if not putting something that looks like a mod on makes it look like you have a mod without permission so to speak. Try arguing that you took the baffles out so it was no longer a mod and i think you'll be there a while
George1990
Ah, but on the range if want the gun to look cool, it's gotta sound cool too ??? Edited May 15, 2009 by George1990
pbickerd
Just get a real one ! I have a moderator on one of mine for range use only. Just put 'health and safety' as a reason on the variation. You will probably get a real one for more or less the same price as a fake one anyways.

You'd have to prove it wasn't a mod when it looked like one, think I'd just keep it as is until a variation went in It isn't on a FAC, smallbore target shooters use an aluminium tube fitted to the end of the barrel to extend the sight radius. This is no different. Without any baffles it is effectively an aluminium tube that screws on the end of a barrel. I agree about just put in a varaition for a moderator and do it officially. But if you don't wan't the aggro then it is here if you want it.

Wouldn't be much use with 15 other people all shooting arround you without one though. Get a brake and then a can when you have the variation.
