I'm driving all the way to Welsh Wales to teach him how to catch Bass and he accuses me of voodoo He won't even tell me where I'm going, I'm following cryptic clues at the moment I should find the beach by about midnight if I set off early evening He's collected about 3 peeler crabs and put his back out . Chard Posted June 5, 2009 Report Share Posted June 5, 2009 Beretta and I have decided that our Bass bash tomorrow night should be postponed until this wind gets out of the East. It was forecast to be a good Northerly blow, which would have been perfect, but it's gone round East, which will kill the surf and kill the fishing - "When the wind's in the East, the fish bite least" etc Pity, I was looking forward to a session, but no point in wasting an evening like that. we'll wait till it goes back North again Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I knew we had a problem when we arrived and one of the local Bass specialists was packing his gear away, fishless Not to be deterred, we set up the gear I thought we'd cracked it when I got a Flounder first cast Then Beretta got a mini Bass - which we sent back to sea with instructions to go and get its Dad But it was not to be. Missed a few bites, but they were only mini Bass or Flounders I should think. Weed was a bit of a pain in the harris. Nice to be out again though, it's soooooooooooo long since I've been fishing .
