Ferret Master
Might get a dopey cub or an urban fox in one but good luck getting any self respecting country fox in one of those contraptions. FM

steve_b_wales
About 6 years ago, my mate made a home made fox cage and put it in his allotments. He used a dead chicken (one of many that was killed by foxes) and hung it inside. In a period of 13 months he caught 23 foxes which I dispatched for him. Wiltsmark
We had a fox round saturday night that we disturbed in the act and he killed one chicken that he then dropped borrowed a live trap for the folowing night using the dead chicken as bait, caught him no problem. rjimmer
Lots of people reckon you struggle with them out in the woods, far better to use them around the farmyard. Placed in certain positions they work well eg just inside the pophole of the chicken hut or pheasant pen. I heard of once chap using them with success and he reckoned that it was because he never killed anything in the trap to leave a tell-tale blood scent. wymberley
Hi, Try a Larsen, caught two so far while I've been baiting with magpies. Cheers
Clubshot
As with most Traps / Cages - if it smells New - nothing will go near it Aware they do work - when prefered - as aware of several who use them for Vermin that are to close to public to be Shot........
