Peter De La Mare
I thought Ben shot exclusively the K guns? I probably won't make it into the finals with a borrowed auto. I know you're all probably amazed at that statement, but it's true. :look:
MC
Pete, Send your brother, he walk it. Surely you are all forgetting Catamong. If Cheryl will be in the final He will be there tagging along

Peter De La Mare
Send your brother, he walk it. Depends which one of us is free on the day, could be either. :look: Ben was 3rd at the Benelli Auto shot so it seems he can shoot what he likes If your Brother is going can you tell me the day so i can watch I wasn't aware the big guy strayed from the Kreighoff brand :look: Ya, the twin that can shoot, if he goes, will let you know. It's a very mediocre layout in a flat field with a pond and a hedgerow in it, I'd rather go to the YFC beat 'em up shoot at West Mersea..!! Cat. Peter De La Mare
It had better be good enough to warrent me getting out of bed super early tomorrow morning. :look: I've read quite a few people mentioning how nice the setting and the shoot is. :look:
Catamong
Well, you've got to make your own mind up, after all, what do I know?. I always wax lyrical about the fabulous Beretta World events that were held at Roundwood near Basingstoke, they were truly World class events over a magnificent course and a 110 foot high tower, with many overseas entrants. When I shot this event at Meon Springs 3 or 4 years ago, I couldn't understand why there were 4 auto traps per stand, so I asked the scorer, he said, "It's simple, when one trap runs out, we just carry on buttoning the next one", I was dumbfounded. :look: I hope you all have a great day..!! :look: Cat. Chard
My man Beretta should clean up. I've been putting him through some pretty rigorous coaching :look:
Peter De La Mare
My man Beretta should clean up. I've been putting him through some pretty rigorous coaching :look: I'll look after him for you, is he house trained? I'm feeling confident for tomorrow, both PDLMs have learnt how a semi auto works, one was hitting a lot more with it than the other. :look:
Chard
I'll look after him for you, is he house trained? :look: Yes, keep an eye on him. He has a tendency to twitch violently when calling for difficult birds (though he denies this). :look:
Whitebridges
Does anyone ever put up proper book for these type of events? E.G. 3/1 Richard Faulds 6/1 Ben Husthwaite 9/1 Mark Marshall 14/1 Paul Simpson 25/1 Graham Stirzaker 33/1 Mark Winser 66/1 Cheryl Hall Odds to win 1/4 the odds a top 4 finish? If there are prices can someone post. If you can have a bet on a fishing match this stuff is game on. What would your book look like? tosspot
Unfortunately i was was not in the clay scene when this event was held at a "better" venue than it is now, so for the fourth year in a row i will have to make do with attending this smoothly run, testing (to me) shoot, along side some of the big names from the clay world, maybe in a few yars time i can say i shot it at a far superior venue that it was run at for all those consectutive years, Jeez stonefish merlot is pretty damned fine

Catamong
You shooting anywhere else instead Cat? I'm toying with the idea of shooting Shugborough on Sunday. It's nicer and closer than Meon! Not sure what I'm doing on Sunday, will probably stay local as I've been dangerously close to Worsley Grunge on business this week and I'm still trying to clear the smog from my lungs..!! The climate Oop North also does absolutely nothing for my sun tan, it chucked it down, (of course), whilst the luverly sarf basked in glorious sunshine. Anyway, one things for sure, the targets at Shuggy will be infinitely better than the rubbish they'll throw at Meow Springs. Cat.
