I suspect the answer as to why some folks go for such garish colours on a super-car is purely "because they can", and to some extent I can understand it... Whilst certainly not in the super-car league, in fact now constrained to just the Ford brand, I get to change both our cars every 4 months or so. You soon get bored with the conventional colours and end up going for some pretty lairy ones which you'd certainly not contemplate if keeping the car... although I must admit to encouraging the wife to do this more than I do :yp: A dodgy colour is one thing but it doesn't make a great car a kn0b-mobile. It is an established FACT that US car styling, in terms of both interior and exterior, is a good few years behind those in the EU and Japan - although some of the French styling is well dodgy. Australian designed cars probably have the worst styling as they seem to represent the very worst combination of US and others. Automotive OEMs design vehicles to target a specific market or type of consumer, it is therefore highly unlikely that say Ford were intending hairy ar$ed hunting, shooting and fishing types to be particularly "taken" by their KA product As with all things in life there really is no accounting for taste. Indeed, there is no accounting for taste, as in my opinion, there's nothing on God's earth that would make an X6 look superb :yp: To me, the colour is just a minor aside. I still think Lambo/Ferrari/Lotus etc etc etc look silly Not blokes cars at all. Women go for them I suppose, well orange air-heads do anyway. Nobody mentioned the car with Mrs Mills bum the megane? If you just say 4x4 then the Koreans have the cranial anal insertion thing licked with this collosal pile of poo and bear in mind this one has be customised to make it less fugly Now tell me is this ugly or just stunningly macho and its a Lotus!
