Whitebridges
Are you talking about compression cases for the purpose of re-loading?
gunfighteruk
Yes just standard 12g once fired empty cases/shells/hulls what ever you want to call them for reloading.
henry d
I think that Whitebridges was trying to let you know that the cartridges that you are after are not, as you say, standard. They are compression formed and will need a recipe that is formulated for cf cartridges.
mr smith
The winchester c/f cases are more gas tight than the normal seperate base and case style, therefore the powder charge is lower than in the normal case. I think this is correct but i've not reloaded shotgun carts for many a year.

pat 1
I think you will have trouble getting winchester cf hulls here. You may get them from the states. The remington cf hulls use the same loading data.Midway.uk would probably have them but they know how to charge.I may be wrong but I think winchester no longer make these hulls.Would you not be better using the likes of b and p hulls which you can get for nothing and only reload once?.The wads will be different. Floating Chamber
I think he means these: When we bought these in the early to mid 1970s, after that dreadful Eley-Kynoch explosion shut down their plant, they were £40 a thousand. Vince Green
Winchester AA s were the standard clayshooting cartridge for many years. Every bin at every clay range was full of them. They have a one piece moulded body which gets thicker inside as it goes down and an 8 fold crimp. They used to reload well but looked very tatty after a couple of times. They were SO clean at the mouths on that first firing; then, after using NG 80/82, Red Dot and even Winchester Ball Powder, they rapidly became tatty and dirty. The cleanest I've had them, after a few loads, was with Bofors JK6.
Mec 9000
Can let you have a few hundred primed or unprimed. Gerry
