Harnser
Any body know were I can get an after market choke key for a beretta urika 2 . Beretta have gone to all the trouble of making a wonderful self loader ,but provide the most flimsy and useless choke key that I have ever seen . Talk about spoil the ship for a ha-peth of Tar . My gun is optimer choked and is overbored . Harnser . Edited September 17, 2009 by Harnser
TonySmith
My Beretta using colleagues ( 686/Onyx) always borrow my Lanber choke key......
Greenhunter
Pretty certain you will get one from Avalon Guns but you'll pay! GH
BlaserF3
I use a Teague tapered key for my Urika 2. It works OK and was not very expensive.
VicW
Harnser, I assume your Optima chokes are flush fitting in which case I think the only option open to you is a Teague tapered key which works very well. £12.65 on Teague's website. https://www.teagueprecisionchokesltd.co.uk/orderform.html

al4x
and if that fails it sounds like a pair of mole grips would fit
Harnser
and if that fails it sounds like a pair of mole grips would fit al4x ,you are spot on ,I do actually use a pair of mole grips with the jaws incased in leather ,but dont want to carry them around in the field . The best thing about this type of choke is if you do get one stuck you can get it out with a pair of stiltsons . Harnser .
BlaserF3
I find by just using your fingers the choke shoots loose but if you use the Teague key it stays tight all the time.
VicW
Optima extended chokes are notorious for working loose and as has been said the easiest way to combat it is to hand tighten them.Get into the habit of checking them every stand, that's a whole lot easier than finding that one day you have done them up so tight with pliers or whatever you can't get them out. If you mess one up it will cost you £60 to replace it. I found that doing them up with a Teague choke key didn't help either.
