I found it all a bit fiddly with ejecters with carts coming out in the adapter ( called skeeters I think from USA) Solution was bought a 20g!!! welshwarrior
Found the 12to 20 good and worked well the 12 to 410 I found did not pattern as well but worked ok best in a non ejector. End result I bought a 20 28 and
Bluebarrels
Yep got a 20g also, just playing around with a few ideas at the minute and thought the .410 adapter might be usefull on a new permission (free range chicken farm)where noise could be an issue before i buy a .410 BB
welshwarrior
BB Welcome to try my 28 bore quitter than 12 but better range/pattern than a 410. I have 410 you could run out to. WW
ChrisAsh
I fancy a set of 410 or 28 tubes, but thought they were specially fitted for exact fit to your shotgun and not inter changable with outher guns Where can you get them in UK

The 12g to .410 adaptors are similar to these Little Skeeters link. Hope this helps
ChrisAsh
Hi Never heard of these handy skeeters before I was thinking of the more normal tubes that fit inside 12 g barrels Can you buy these skeeters in the UK?

ChrisAsh
Here is an article on 410 adaptors. not much of a article !!!!! Took the gamble and brought a gaugemate gold from the states last night 12g to 410 so will report back how it performs for £127 inc postage so not to bad, the cheaper versions require the insert and cartridge to be removed from the gun and then remove the cartridge from the sleeve and then reload, whilst the gold variety releases the spent cartridge without removing the sleeve Be interesting to see how it patterns against a straight 410 at the same ranges Looks like they are fully accepted in the states as a replacement to full length insert tubes, should be a bit of fun anyway seeing a 12g go phut and others giving a strange look as they no I only have a 12g and nothing else

vole
My 12g to .140 patterns fairly loosely at about 15 yards . I got 3 or 4 pellets into a playing card size target out of a 1/2 choked barrel of my Hushpower using Eley Fourlongs . Thought it would be super quiet but was a fair crack. Floating Chamber
The 'Four-Tenner' is a good buy and it has its own ejector system. The green ones are Browning 'Little Skeeters'.
