  3. Sounds like what I'd call a worker and provider blessed with a great family, enjoy them my friend and wait for the grandkids to come along, you'll not feel empty then and all will be revealed as to how fortunate you really are...all the rest is just material possessions gathered along the way ...health is the main gift to see it all fall into place.....
  4. Sold to the man above PM sent with details
  5. Clay Gillet, excellent condition Burgundy in colour with leather trim 26" pit to pit so would say this is XXL £20 posted

  7. I wonder how the French would react to such a fiasco if their lot were to pull a similar stunt......doubt they would be spending time on their keyboards pandering to various establishments with the filling out of application forms....
  8. if all pigeon shooters take five minutes to apply and register the same as above its going to costs NE a fair few bob in stamps over the next week or so....regardless of whether applicants see fit to respond with any documentary evidence to further the application....
  9. Looking for a half decent spotting scope that is capable of picking up .17 & .22 on paper from 25m out to 100m without breaking the bank, managed without one for all these years but the old legs are getting tired now.
  10. Can you guys tell me if Airgun pellets are suitable for melting down to make lead shot from. I have several kilos that have accumulated over time and have started to reload my 410 so if possible would like to make use of them, only use this for ratting and squirrel at close range so nothing too technical required. if suitable and not too soft then I shall be on the look out for a shot maker...
  11. looking to fit one with a welded box liner for goldfish rather than buy wooden raised pond which are a tad too chunky, can buy a new trough for around £200 and cheaper than materials for a diy project and fabricating one from angle and lining with ply before fitting box liner etc, just going through ideas at present .....rehousing goldfish after a pond leak is not working out cheap so far....they are quite happy in 1000L ibc with top cut off at present but HWMBO isn't buying the idea of dressing that up and saving
  12. Looking for a large galvanised watering trough, anyone know of a UK supplier or of very good condition used one for sale 8' x 2 ' x 2' would be ideal size, seen a couple of use battered ones on the auction site for starters, may consider new if I don't need to sell a kidney
  13. Please PM if you have one for sale
  14. Waterproof Windproof Sweater Recommendations looking at Musto Tech Wool Zip Neck Fleece or Barbour Becket Waterproof Half Zip sweater for starters, anyone here got either of these that can pass comment. Anything else out there that actually works well, saw an alpaca one some time ago but was a bit big and chunky both in size and price.
  15. Assisted openers, spring or similar and with locking blades are NOT illegal as far as I am aware otherwise they wouldn't be readily available, a reason for carrying one is the main issue of concern but as usual i stand to be corrected. http://www.knifewarehouse.co.uk/product-category/spring-assisted-knives/
  16. General Grabber AT2 215/70 R16 100T and they fill the wheel arches up better than the originals and as an added bonus the speedo now reads spot on when compared to garmin sat nav whereas was showing about 10% slow when on original size tyres
  17. Just taxed my Xtrail @ £305 for the year, 2004 2.5 SVE petrol, had it for ten years now and love it to bits, always done everything I expected and asked of it and has been one of the most reliable vehicles i have ever owned having never let me down since purchased with 35k on clock and just turned 100K miles and will probably run it till the wheels fall off.....only gripe is cost of road tax but i offset that against the reliability and service provided throughout the year..... What do you guys pay for your 4x4 road tax

  21. Yep ....its a connect ...don't know where courier came from.... no tools or kit in there as is used just for transport, boarded out but open to rear, just about gets warm by the time I'm getting out of it 12 miles later.
  22. needs to be independent as vehicle parked on street away from house .....
  23. Evening all, Is there such a thing such in existence that will keep the frost off when vehicle is parked up overnight. Got a ford transit courier that even frosts up on the inside and is a pain in the ***** to thaw out when the frost arrives such as it did this morning, I appreciate such may drain a battery if left on constantly so possibly something with either storage facility or better still one with a timer.
