I live in Broomfield just outside Herne Bay.

    Regards

      Hi Chris,

That's really interesting! I knew they were getting on a bit but am surprised the police gun is that old.

Thanks ever so much for taking the time. My email is chrisshafe@gmail.com

I'd love to have the info if possible.

      Thanks again.

      Chris

      Hi Chris,

I`ve just realised that I never emailed that Greener information.

      Sorry about that.

I will do so in the next hour or so.

      Kind Regards,

      Chris

  2. Selling pigeons in Essex.

It might be worth giving Pete Theobald a ring. He shoots loads of pigeons and lives in Rettendon just south of Chelmsford and probably uses someone not a million miles from you.

Whether he'll divulge his outlet remains to be seen, but he's quite approachable guy.

I've got his number if you wish to try.

  3. Hi Mick,

Is the 16g AYA non ejector advertised before Xmas now sold.

Thought that they were both sold but can only see that the ejector is sold.

    Many thanks,

    Chris

  4. Hi Mick,

    Happy New Year.

I am after a cheap (up to £300) 16 bore and was too slow in replying to the two AYAs that you sold recently. Not bothered about ejector as non ejector suits the type of shooting that I do. Having said cheap, I would prefer clean bores, no pits etc.

Anything coming up in the future ?

    Many thanks,

    Chris

  5. Hi Steve,

Hope you don't mind but I'm just checking whether my PM's are getting through, only I sent one to Marshman wishing to buy his recently advertised books minutes after his post and received no reply. Also sent PM to another on PW offering him some free lofting poles and still no reply even after sending reminder of the offer.

I know that if you receive this you will have the curtesy of replying. If no reply I will know it's down to my technical inability !!

Thanks and have a good Xmas,

    Chris

  6. Good Morning Marsh Man,

I will take the three books please if you will take a cheque, as being a Luddite, I'm afraid I don't do PayPal or bank transfer. Fully understand if not, but if so, if you could please send your name and address and I'll get a cheque in the next post (probably next post will now be 27th.Dec).

    Many Thanks,

    Chris

  7. Hi Wingman,

You've made a really good job of that stock.

You say that refreshing the checkering is beyond your ability, but you'd be surprised how easy it can be if taken very slowly and carefully. As the pattern is already there i.e you're not cutting new, it is only a matter of carefully following the existing lines and refreshing them. However, you will need the correct 'lines per inch' cutter with which one part follows one line and the other cuts the next line, if that makes sense. That is with a two line cutter. There are some good you-tube videos showing how to cut new which gives the basis.

If the spacing on your stock is 20 LPI (lines per inch) I have an older (less sharp and ideal for refreshing and less liable to make mistakes and easier to use) that you can borrow if you wish.

    Regards,

    Chris

  8. Hi Steve,

Are your feet included in the sale of that leather gunslip, haha,

    Regards,

    Chris

  9. Hi Welshgun,

As you have had no replies, try UKShootwarehouse, their latest sets of lofters are really good with extended spigots which ensure that the poles don't bend (as the older ones did).

Also by quoting the PW code you get a discount.

    Good product and excellent service.

  10. Have a look on Guntrader, there's a Lincoln Premier gold deluxe for £840 and also two Lincoln Jubilee Prestiges (sideplate & POW stock) around your budget. One with photos one without.

    Good luck with your quest,

    Chris

Are ok are they in 16 ? I may need to alter my price a tad I always leave room for movement   I’m no fan of the premier gold but the prestige guns are nice except for the gold ducks ? lol
