  1. Neaver did get to sign up Still I was there and counted Thanks
  2. I will be there. I havent put my name down or anything ( Rushed it at the last second ) so I wil just turn up on a coach. But still I will be there!
  3. If they do go after shooting which is stupid it wont relly suprise me but after reading one post about them going ater fishing it to me will be the ULTIMATE **** Take and I will begin to question the sanaty ( Dont know how its spelt) of the people in the country i live in and will have to consider moving abrod to escape these weird weird people. GOD HELP THIS COUNTRY I never thought it would get this bad.
  4. Another one bites the dust ! Congrats
  5. I support leagle Hunting with dogs to. Despite the things you hear in the news the fox is killed pretty quick and the hounds on a stag hunt only restrain the deer so a shooter can get up close and despach the deer with a firearm, they dont rip the stag apart. One thing I dont agree with leagle or not leagle is hare (Jackjabbit) coursing a load of Jipos round are way used do it illeagly untill and the keeper shot at some of the dogs then reported them ( Nice One!). I would much rather kill a fox by shooting it and have neaver taken part in the fox hunt apart from tacking photos for a school project. But its a british Tradition and I respect it. Bring It On Blair :=)
  6. Lol I gotta see that I hope they dont ban fox hunting here in England it used to be nice to here the horn going a couple of days before christmas I always used to see them go across the same field from my window every year and gran used to come out with drinks for them. Still were all tort in school to respect outher peoples religions and Traditions so why the hell are the people so determind to get rid of fox hunting. This may seem a little over the top but you could even call this goverment racest over the ban on fox hunting and tigher and tighter laws they are trying to put on shooters.

  8. Thanks I will Give It A try :(
  9. Im not shure but It took a lot more pumping than normally but I put that down to the amount of shots I had on my last trip. But maybe Thats why. After a while the noise stoped Maybe it got hot of something. :what:
  10. I was Pumping up my air arms s200 today and had just put the pump away when I heard a sort of hissing noise so I picked up the gun and put it to my ear and the noise was comeing from the front part of the air bottel. I removed the lid cover and the noise stoped and as I put it on again it started up again put as every second passed the noise got less and less load until I could hardly hear it at all. I dont know If its a leak but I have not pumped it up or used it for a while ( Since the winter were I used it every outher day ) and I think I just might have been hot or something. + The gun is not very old Your Thoughts Please
  11. As the estate Im on is quite big the crops and the game birds are at least 2 miles apart so I am lucky. But the keeper was on about puting a pen in a little patch of woodland rond by the crops ,the down side is its my favorite rost shooting patch oh well. At least iv got something to shoot over.
  12. Makes you think I was shooting in a hide with 3 people less than a week ago but The one whoes turn it was to shoot sat forward. The blokes I was shooting with said that they had been shooting together for years so the had a Ruff Idea of what the outher one was gonna do so they could take a couple of birds at a time "Yours is the left mines the right" they would wisper and stuff like that. But as I was new I had to sit back While the it did it, It worked really well but I suppose something bad can happen. :what:

    Back again!

Welcome Back been anywere done any shooting?
  14. I think you should get a cheap Over And Under if you are going to use it for pigeon shooting. I used to prefer the fancy the side by sides which I liked untill my uncle lent me his aya and I dident want to even take it out of the cabinate incase it got marked! I have a investarm ( Something Like That) and its good because it folds compleatly over when you break the barrel making it easy to put in a bag instead of luging a slip everwere. Its compleatly plane with no ingraving to get messed up it was only £180 at the CLA Gamefair so I brought it I have also found that it is easyer to lock onto a bird with an over and under I dont know why but they seam to fit me better than s/s syill I am still keeping mine just for beaters day.
  15. eeeeerrrrrr Have you put a bug in my Bedroom!
  16. I'v had a lot of that in the past and beeing younger makes it worse I norrmally have to explane that I am old enough to be out on my own with my air rifle. And that I am allowed to shoot here and finealy as we get a lot of people using the footpaths who are out in the country for the day that just because it's not a phesant pen or dosent have a private sign up dosent mean that they can walk through it. P.S Quick story= This happend a couple of years ago on the phesant shoot were I was part of the merry beating team. We were swiching bettween drives when before the guns had moved to there pegs abot 15 #### birds broke cover from the maze. None of us knew what had put the birds un till an old dog trotted out of the end of the drive, the gamekeeper whent bright red and I was half expecting him to grab one of the guns and shoot the dog! A couple of us grabed it and took it up to one of the big Estate houses were we thought it had came from the owner of the dog came running out and we told him what the dog had dun " Oh sorry he likes to go out on his morning run" he said and gave us £20 and sweets to share out bettween the guns to say sorry. This man runs and tells the gamekeeper what to do yet he lets his dog out to runn on a shoot day still the sweets were nice.
  17. I knew That ! Thanks You Lot.
  18. I see How close do you have to be within pigeon range or closer? Were do you hit them just behind the front hip like a deer or just in the head?
  19. Do you shoot fox's with rifle or shotgun? My uncle use's a 10 Bore with a turky choke and some really heavy shot. What shot size are you lot using on old foxy BB .1 stuff like that and do you shoot him on the move. I have neaver seen a fox shot with a shotgun is it as clean as a rifle? If so do you think I could give my 20 Bore a try or do I have to pinch dads 12. So Many questions
  20. 1. Crow Call = Don't know if they work but gonna give it a try. 2. Some decoys of my own. 3. Some washing line stand things to use as hide poles everybobys saying there just as good as the real thing. P.S If you want a good selection and price get it all at a gamefair or show. :(
  21. I sometimes put dead birds in the frezer and use them as decoys for my next trip because some decoys are really shiney and the sun sun shines right off of them and it makes them look 100% fake to birds flying over. But the bloke I go shooting with has fluffy ones that look as real as the real thing. I try not to leave the hide but some times if a pigeon vears off you decoy pattern its because one of the birds you have shot has landed upside down so if this happens I always check my pattern.
  22. Cranfield when you say follow the combine about do mean waiting till the last bit of crop is ready for cutting then moving in just as the animals break cover because ive just got back from doing that And I am hoping to go tomoro. The gamekeeper was there waiting in his car with the rifle for any foxs to leg it out but none did and I shot 2 Rabbits with my 410 I dont know whats haping round are way when I was little and dad used to sit me in the tractor to fill the grain in to the trailer when the combine had its spout out I used to see loads of people with beagles and they used to get hundreds of bunnies break cover at once but they dont seam to do it any more. But the best crop to shoot in the harvest time is maze because its so high just about any animal you can think off stays in it and when its cut there all exposed, I got some great pictures off deer running out in front of the combine and the keeper reckons he shot 3 fox's in the same night when they went lamping after the maze was cut so I have got my fingers crossed. :(
  23. Heres How to spoil someones joke They say: " Man Walks In to A Bar" You say: "And Gets a nose bleed"
  24. And to those who diden't come first you have to have an apple shot off you head with my crud bow. P.S Please make shure that you have a desent life inshurance package before taking part .
