  1. fleur de lys is the proper name. Look at the paragraph marked 3 in the below link.. http://www.chircuprodimpex.ro/produse/alic...-ammunition.pdf
  2. Look for the marking of "the french lily/fleur de summit or another on the barrels mate. Its the same symbol as the scouts had on there uniforms lol. If it has that stamp on the barrel it will be steel shot proofed.
  3. Radiator blocked up? Try sticking a hosepipe in the rad and take off the bottom hose and flush it out and see how much crud comes out.
  4. Get about 30mpg in my 300tdi disco.
  5. It may help it may not it depends on whats causing the problem. If its dry its likely greasing may help, oil wont last anytime at all. Nothing will fall out unless its broken when you remove the action to get to its innards. To take it apart you just need to take off the butt plate/recoil pad which is 2 screws and you should be able to see the stock bolt when you look in.Once thats undone the stock will pull away from the action. There are ways of making the trigger pull lighter if its not because its dry.I adjust them myself if they need doing but its not something you want to play with if your not confident or using guesswork.
  6. The braethers on the clio gearboxes do seem to suffer faults for some reason as they can block and cause a lot of sludge around the filler cap. How accesible is the valve? If you can remove it easily then take it out and check it is actually allowing it to breather properly. ie blow through it both ways to make sure it only operates in 1 direction. Secondly make sure the oil level is correct and not over filled as can be the most common cause. The filler plug is half way up on the front of the gearbox close to where it mates to the engine.Sometimes its a plastic plug not metal on them. If you take this plug out and oil runs out then let it as its been over filled. The oil level should come up to the bottom of that plug hole and no more. There is no reason why a gearbox should pressurise and blow oil out the breather if its not been over filled and the breather works as it should,
  7. Hatsan youth semi auto 20 bore shotgun. Bought last year for my other half to learn to shoot with.Ive now upgraded and bought her a 28 bore o/u to get her out on a few pheasant shoots this year. Its in good condition has the odd mark on the stock which ive tried to show in the pics. Its had probably 250 cartridges only through it.Comes in its original box with manual,5 chokes, choke key, recoil pad spacers and a couple of spare o rings.I also bought a slightly longer recoil pad over the standard one which is on the gun as i thinks it looks neater than using the spacers (also included).24" barrel. Im looking for £275 for it and i will throw in the spare 100 carts i have for it on a face to face deal.I would rather do a face to face deal but will try and get to my local RFD to see if he would send the gun and if he is willing the purchaser would have to pay the rfd cost but it obviously wouldnt include the carts,Location is Exeter in Devon.
  8. My other half take chickens to the vets... Most weve ever paid is £50 in 1 hit for lab samples etc.Anything over that would end in a tragic way for a chicken... I have paid £30 to mend a white pheasant chicks leg which i accidently trod on and broke and that was on a bank holiday weekend aswell! My other half has told our vet that she looks upon them as pets whereas me being a farmer boy looks at them as livestock so any big bills just wouldnt happen.
  9. The chief constable wouldnt say on the news if it was legitamatly held or not guess its to early for them to say. On the news they showed the weapon being taken away in a bag the size of a 25kg feed bag so i cant see it would be a conventional shotty.According to eye witnesses it had a scope but it was a shotgun.Only thing i can think of was a short barrel FAC type thing for slugs or similar. An eye witness said single barrel but that doesnt mean its not a semi or pump action .
  10. Basc guy was Bill Harriman. Shame the secon time around they didnt put up BASC but spokesman for shooting and conservation.........
  11. Yeah been watching it lots 2nite. I wanted to see if they mentioned whether he was a legitamate holder of a shotgun/firearms cert. The chief officer of cumbria declined to answer the question. Also trying to work out what the firearm was.Very much sounds like a single barrel/semi auto fitted with a telescopic sight according to witness's! They also showed a clip of a police woman removing the shotgun/firearm in a bag not much bigger than a 25kg feed sack. I cant see any shotgun fitting into something that size unless it had <24" barrel/s so maybe an fac type shotgun but why the telescopic sight??Only thing i can think of is for solid slugs.
  12. I would say its one of 2 things. 1) A neibouring vixen has moved into take over the new territory. They respond pretty quick when a fox gets shot/dies etc and there will quite often be a fresh fox moving in within a week. 2) Its not unheard of for the dog fox to father and feed more than one family. If he feels its safer to move the cubs and vixen he will do so if he feels its a safer place to be or the place of birth/earth is endangered in anyway. I very much doubt a fox would/could have a litter of 9.Usually 4 or 5 max.Unlike a dog they have smaller litters with the aim of making sure they all survive.Any more than 5 they would be smaller/more dependent and also feeding 9 would be a major problem.
  13. Where abouts in south devon are you to m8?
  14. Well it ended up with me staying at home due to the ban. Didnt see any point going there if i cant shoot
  15. Lol Tell my other half that as it sleeps on the bed most nights! Tell it its bedtime and it flys up the stairs and gets on the bed! Its mad as a hatter tho and lives quite happily in the front room when the gundogs are in, they dont bother with one another. The bloody pheasant even drinks out a pint glass and loves crisp and crunchies!
  16. Arent pheasants like most birds meant to be hardy and live outdoors? I had to video our pet pheasant tonight to show they arent stupid and make the most of lifes little comforts if they get half the chance. I even lost my utube virginity to upload it. Best/funniest from about 2 minutes. Will definetly open a few ppl's eyes im sure lol.
  17. I have to agree. You seem to get good one and ones not so good. Eitherway they are easily tuneable in a big way and they easily go over the 12ft/ib limit if your not careful.I tuned and then had to slightly detune one as it was pumping a pellet clean through a pigeon breast at 25 yards
  18. What chokes, shot size and load where you using? For flighting you dont need anything much more than 5 shot steels and maximum 32 gram carts. You can get away with almost no choke given the short distances and steel patterning tighter than lead.
  19. Ah not sounding to promising then Certainly not good as i have some private shooting right next to the estuary here in Devon which always gives me some duck/goose shooting! Im only doing the 1200 mile round trip solely for the shooting to!
  20. From Wikipedia "cowell set up another label, Syco Records, in 2002 which later became part of Columbia Records and Sony BMG Music Entertainment."
  21. And Joe Mcelderry or whatever his name is... Hmmm his song is also on a sony record label!
  22. Anyone shot it this year or local to it? Ive got a week off in a month and going up there for the week shooting the estuary/bay and never been (live the other end of the country!) so would be interested to see how its "shooting" at the mo.
  23. Im not complaining.Rimfire isnt far away from me so if he decides to sell whatever hes bought cheaply or should i say is MADE to sell them on than i may get a bargain hehe
