yes please I will take it

you can tell the difference with a 375 HH against a 223 dosent make it any harder to shoot if that the best YOU can do "harder to shoot" what a joke and no I dont agree with anythung you say as its all bull **** from an arm chiar expert Iam still waiting for a link to your published articles in the shooting press by the way the 23rd I will be on the 100 yard range in the morning then 300 falling back to 600 in the afternoon
-
what planet you on,maybe harder for an old man who cant hold a rifle steady
-
I have been reading this and everyone has an opinion, persoanlly I would have a 22.250 purely just because i shot one for many years,Iam sure the 223 boys will advice you to go there way anyway if your buying a new rifle hold on,I have just got wind of a custom built 223 blueprinted action loather walther match barrel arnold jewel trigger Mc milan lazoroni thumbhole stock (fully beded) Nightforce NSX scope PES short mod its fired 79 rounds reason for sale the guy is emergrating, built by Steve Kershaw, now the above kit is £2500,about the same as a factory rifle set up,the guy spent over £4000 having this lot put together worth a thought on the 223 as this will be a tack driver and consistant out to silly distance
-
everyone has an opinion but I can safley say the 243 makes an amazing long range (400 yard plus) rabbit and hare caliber, yes the barrel may and I say may last 1500 rounds (not seen this yet) but you dont drive a sports car on remoulds you dont need a "honking great moderator" the third eye tactical sparten does the job great. what is one suspose to do carry 3 different calibers in case of noise noise comes with C/F shooting remember you can always "down load" the 243 if your too tight to buy powder
-
to be honest you are getting the best caliber the 243,you can load it up or down from a 58gr to a 90gr,as its been said will out perform any of the smaller calibers yes it will burn more powder, but look at it another way if you already have (or buying one) you need to spend another £1000 plus on another rifle and scope that £1000 will buy a lot of powder and bullets for many years, which mean 1 good rifle with 1 good scope combo, the more you shoot the one rifle the more you will used to it,if you fry the barrel in a few years have another one fitted, which will still work out cheaper than running 2 different calibers a 243 with 65gr to 75gr pill will do anything you ask of it I did go through the same dilama a couple of years ago I ws going to have built a 20 cal of some kind, when I actually thought about it,the idea didnt stack up,so I stayed a 1 varmint rifle man (plus rimfire of course you cant be without one of them)
-
take a look through this lot mate http://www.reloadersnest.com/frontpage.asp?CaliberID=58 I would recomend seeing what powders from the list of loads on the link your local shop keeps in stock then your not chasing all over the country if you run out,I think I used RL19 when I used a 30.06

.223 / 5.56mm Ammuntion - Help Please
Ackley replied to Dog Trainer's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
I will tell you what properly is you may find an £11 box of ammo will shoot great, thats superb BUT what happens when the bullets run out and you cant get any more ?? the batch numbers change and so does the peformance, then you will be wasting time and money trying them again unless you nuy a load of cheap ammo that you know works with the same batch numbers in which case you will be spending more money at that time of purchase, I know this for a fact as a mate of mine did the same his rifle shot cheap ammo for fun, batch number change it was shocking,I then sent him back to buy as much of the origonal stuff they had on the shelf hence spening quite a bit your origonal question should have been I want to use cheaper ammo not that funds were tight -

I didnt say that,if your skint why waste money on shooting, obvioulsy your not skint I offered to save the guy £86 on 60 rounds when the £86 will load him over 200,a bit of a no brainer really anyway best of luck with your situation, hope it changes for the better in the future -

Iam not "fooled" by anything mate I like to save as much as possable but if I cant afford to do something properly I will wait untill I can,but there comes a point if something dosent work why try to use it just because its cheap where not debating if privi shoots,we all know it does in some rifles, were talking about being short on money to be able to pay for ours hobbies my point is why struggle is funds are tight, have a few weeks off un till your back up to speed again,I know its hard to stop doing something you enjoy but it wont last forever by the way Iam as far from a "snob" as you can get -

LOL "key board warrior" thats a good one,yes I bought a $500 machine,so what I wanted one,can you show me where I have said Iam an expert as I havnt said anyhting to that effect, however I do know what Iam doing judging amount the amount of brass I get sent I dont think lowly of anyone, unlike your good self with your ranting. I have offered my "opinion" on what I would do if I was short of money,if you dont like it thats your problem not mine, its not offensive or arogant unlike your posts. seems Iam just a bad a55 who knows sod all I will tell that to the local guy tonight who was just going to spend £86 on 3 boxes of factory ammo whos coming up to have a 100 round reloaded for him for free. -
its nice to leave the centre fire at home every now and again and get back to basics with the good old rimfire.we nipped out saturday night on my golf course,a cracking night bagged 25 rabbits skinned and gutted them got £35 form the loacl resteraunt, result I used to give them away to hawking lads

offensive, what planet are you on mate, some of you should grow a set and come into the real world, god knows how some of you would carry on acually talking to people direct instead of sat behind your PC, whats the point of struggling and then buy cheap ammo which may not even perform correctly, you may end up spending even more money wasting shot after shot sorry but Iam of the opinion if you cant do the job right leave the guns in the cabinet untill you can. its not nice when one has to tighten there belt and there hobby has to stop for a while, but hopefully it will only be a while in this guys case. -

before you start shoutng the odds here I suggest you get off your high horse and read what I wrote again,I offered my opinion, times are hard at the moment and people are tightening there belts, this means cutting back on the things that are not essential, I have answered the question with "what I would do" under the circumstances. my family is more important than throwing bullets down the range, the OP dosent reload but be sure if he was local to me I would be the first to offer load him a batch now get your head out of your behind and try to understand things correctly -

dont take this the wrong way mate but if your having money problems the first thing to do is stop shooting, unless your shootiong meat for your family dinners, buy esentials shooting isnt esential its a hobby good luck -
why would another 5/10 feet made a difference
-
thats easy to answer get a Swrovski Z6i and a seperate range finder, the scope in my opinion is the best on the market for a stalker
-
who the **** do you think you are, your that important you cant pick up a phone Craig is a top bloke, yes a little hard to get hold of thats because he busy, yes theres plenty of other suppliers BUT there isnt plenty of the quality of the third eye tactical wake up and smell the coffe sunshine as customer aint king, your still in the dark ages, just like your attitute on most subject, to answer the OPs question, they are very good mods I have used one for sometime now,buy one you wont regret it
-
I agree these huge days are total carnage, but with 100,000 plus release and 90 days plus to go at them someone has to shoot them,The Duke pays for it all so I guess he can do what he wants,as you say double gund and loaders, with 14 guns in the line its gets quite busy anyway got to fly done want to be late
-
isnt it obvious that the first days would have been partridge any self respecting shooter would have known that,"self respecting shoot wouldnt shoot pheasant untill Novemeber",do me a favour pal again you have no idea I will mention your words of wisdom to the Duke and Dutchess today that they are doing it wrong, seem not with 100 days they have booked. I hope you can match your big mouth pal,I will be at Bisley I think the 23rd,pleaseeeeeeeeee come and say hello Iam still waiting for a link to your "published work" or is it in the childrens dept of the library
-
yep its hard work in this heat, they have shot 5 days straight this week, its been hard and very hot work,I stripped down to shorts the other day, these birds are more than ready, too hot I agree but needs must, the dogs get plenty of water and let loose into the ponds and lakes
-
there will be plenty of very nice ladies there,a nice bit of eye candy throughout the day
-
if you care to take your head out of your *** pheasant opens up the 1st of October, and yes there gopin g for 1000 head,a mixed bag of duck.partridge and yes you guessed it pheasant,970 picked last season on the same day so hoping to beat it by the way dont judge others rifle skill by your own which are obvioulsy sub standard,I think right for the shooting press, you never did post any articles now did you
