  4. I'm starting to wonder about @Yellow Bear πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ€£πŸ€£
  5. Talk about contradictory advice, take it in a morning take it at night πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„
  6. When I was younger I could have agreed 100% and have had 4 slices of bread and butter with most meals. Nowadays it would give me palpitations and a headache. Saying that I don't work like I used to do so don't need the sustenance.
  7. It's all food for thought whereas I don't go so much at night as more in the day so would you say that the tablet has worn off by the time you go to bed πŸ€”
  8. You beat me to it πŸ˜‰ it's good to know that others take it and it appears to work πŸ‘
  9. Blood test yesterday and a message from the doctor this morning saying " your PSA test was normal" So i will be starting some tablets to improve "flow". I have recently changed doctors and these are fantastic, getting a result less than 24 hours from the test is remarkable πŸ‘
  10. This made me laugh πŸ˜ƒ
  11. Just starting on the prostate check/tests etc today. I went to see the doctor this morning at 09.00 and a PSA blood test at 11.00 so now waiting for the doctor to ring with the results. The advice on the television about getting checked spured me on plus pressure from my wife and daughter.
  12. I definitely couldn't do some of the stuff Albert did. He said he once jumped out of a plane, parachuting into waist high snow ❄️ then had to fight Germans with his platoon. Sometimes if I don't want to do something I often think "what would Albert tell me to do?" He used to say in his southern accent "just ******* get on and do it !!!" ps he was only about 5' 7" but carried toughness.
  13. Make sure whatever you buy it has a reverse to prevent blockages taking ages to clear πŸ‘
  14. I forgot to say that a lot of what he did during his service I wouldn't have been able to do. I would have wet my pants. The only thing I had in common with Albert was that I worked at Markham Colliery as he did.
  15. Appropriately 20+ years ago I used to meet an old fella called Albert when we walked our dogs most days. I knew he was in the war etc but he wouldn't say too much really. When folks say someone is a hero doing something mundane then when I think what Albert did, he really was a hero and I feel privileged to have known him. I didn't get to know his story after his death. I know it's a long read but it is coming up to Remembrance day. https://www.pegasusarchive.org/normandy/albert_watts.htm
  16. I had one of these Bosch but the older model and it was a proper worker, it did get jammed now and again but put it in reverse and it soon cleared. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/196047948170?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ISWTH5EvTMe&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=v2P7Ib7BQsi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  17. 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 don't you πŸ€”πŸ€”
  18. Common harbor seals typically do not pose a threat or attack dogs unless they feel threatened or cornered. Harbor seals are generally shy and avoid interactions with humans or other animals. However, it's important to keep in mind that wild animals can be unpredictable, and each situation may vary. It's always a good idea to keep dogs on a leash in areas where seals are known to be present and to maintain a safe distance to prevent any potential conflicts. This message has been generated by Nova - download it for free: https://novaappai.page.link/wp3fKzbNrLTGFh5r6 I've seen some big seals basking on the mud off Shepps, I wouldn't take the risk with any.
  19. Very sad πŸ˜” I have seen many a seal on the wash and it does make you think what's lurking in the wide channels if you sent a dog in and what might happen.
  20. Picture for effect only as I know the majority are critical of it for a fiver. The purpose of my post is why do folks waste money? A young couple on the next table in the pub left at least half of their surf and turf and they both left half a pint of Stella. My conclusion is they must be stacked out with money or its too easy to come by.
  21. This is my barometer, it was my mother's.
