Check that the spark plug chambers have no water contamination as this will generate a misfire till it dries out water will come from poor fitting washer jets and fill the chambers. Also check the wiring to ignition coils as these break close to the connector block as the wiring can be routed wrong

The farmer was very late getting in this crop of beans and Having shot this bean stubble two weeks ago we thaught that the farmer would turn this in very quickly ,and did three of the fields ,but his plough had a major breakage so this meant just one field was left untouched .watching this field yesterday was amazing to see birds coming from all directions to dine and nothing fazed them so a plan was formed to shoot today .we set up with two rotators and one floater and a flapper . As we were loading up birds were piling in ,it was steady for the first few hours with some testing shooting in the strong wind ,but very enjoyable and a respectable 90 birds shot but really should have been a 100 plus but hay ho that's pigeon shooting

Shot a bean stubble today with a good mate farmer only finished cutting 2 days ago .there was a few birds about but mostly in big flocks as per this time of year we shot thirteen woodys in 3 hours and it was nice to get in the hide again all be it bloody cold Will keep an eye on these fields for the next week or so me thinks

Try making a sack out of an old net curtain .the mesh is very fine and the flies can't get in so lay eggs on the mesh which brushes off easily. Job done

Today me and my shooting partner shot a bean drilling to say it was hectic is an understatement but only from 2 o'clock onwards and it was very windy where I was but my buddy was shelterd by the wood ,some very testing shooting for me then but a cracking day finishing with 91 for me and 94 for him , but the walk half killed us both ,but worth it for the final result with a very pleased farmer 😀
