For beaches go to Fig Tree Bay in Protara or the beaches in Ayia Napa . Try the local cuisine if u like a drink ask for some of the local fire water Zivania. Avoid Famagusta !! No tornados. Typhoons or many immigrants. The weather is warm the seas are the best in the Med, the people friendly and they drive on the same side of the road as us. Enjoy
  2. Cos Looks amazing , you certainly know your food . Squid octopus prawns , fish , washed down with Lamb Chops !! Heaven.
  3. Go on then if it helps put me on the list .
  4. Congratulations Beretta06 on what will ultimately be a beautiful pair of guns . A close friend of mine did the Perazzi experience and visited the factory. He couldn't praise the staff enough and had a great time, as I'm sure by the sounds of it you did. Now it's just a case of waiting 4 delivery and counting the days. !!!!!!!
  5. Hi Cos, I have to agree with you mate. This is the closet gun shop to me but I will not spend a penny in that shop for same reasons you have mentioned. I have found the guy to be rude abrupt and a compete $?@;;** In complete contrast, I can't recommend enough the gents at Mays of London or Park St Guns, who can't do enough for you....
  6. For the game shot who loves woodcock shooting as I do , this is the equivalent to shoot porn!!!!
  7. Ask the insurance company to transfer the bonus from your wife to yourself as this is sometimes possible with various insurance companies, but this only applies to a changes between married couples
  8. If you love the Land Rover Defender this is a must. On now on C4
  9. HI Aris, Can thoroughly recommend the gallery. Great place to spend an hour or so. If you are looking for clothing or accessories they have some good deals in the New Year sale otherwise they can be a bit on the steep side. But what I would say is that they tend to get the pick of the best stocks, as opposed to the local RFDs. I bought a couple of guns from the gallery and the service was good but the quality of the wood was better than average.
  10. Hi Terry, Since you gave me the tip about doubling my lead last week on the high tower at A1 and since I still owe you the 50p you gave my son in exchange for his toy gun, I think the very least I can do is turn up. Hope to come down with my cousin, as I have never tried Helice and am quite looking forward to it. So fingers crossed We will see you Saturday.
  11. Cos I can vouch for the whisky exchange I had delivered a fine bottle of Japanese Whiskey to a friend last year who couldn't thank me enough. Or alternatively Costco had an offer on Chivas Regal 18 yr old a while ago which won't break the bank.
  12. Cos where did you get the moulds done as I am thinking of getting myself a pair.
  13. Agree Terry is a nice bloke and A1 shooting ground is a good local club. As for the coffee I agree they make a proper Cuppa....good luck with the shooting and do a few more sessions as you will find your shooting will go from strength to strength....
  14. If that was an attempt at what may be considered humour,,,, I'm afraid this individual has a lot to answer for..
  15. Great shooting Cos , best way I know to spend a day off !! Buy loads of Non Toxic loads, as you will probably be needing them !!
  16. Great picture gents. Roll on January as I will be amongst those to have the opportunity to shoot at the woodcock . Can't wait......
  17. Well done mate for introducing a fellow gun to what most people have never had the chance to participate in. It's people like you that we all owe a duty of respect to, for keeping our sport alive, and giving the young ones the chance to experience something very special. Good on ya. Hats off to James for taking the bird home and cooking it. There's not much tastier than roast grouse.
  18. CAN YOU SEND ME SOME PICTURES AS IM INTERESTED Thanks
  19. If sale does not go ahead please pm me as I will have them , thanks
  20. Was on a walked up Grouse day in North Yorkshire a fortnight ago. SIx guns and we had a bag of about 20 brace. We all had a thoroughly good time and we agreed with the shoot organiser that the tip was going to be £50. It is quite a lot but when the keepers do their utmost to make your day a special one you tend not to be to offended by the size of the tip, within reason. I also think that keepers on a walked up grouse day deserve that bit extra as the job is that bit harder. Sorry we were 5 guns not 6 !!!
  21. Ilkley Moor Bah Tat That's the seen from a Glorious Corner of England where the scenery is amazing, the people are warm and welcoming and the shooting some of the best in the world. Spent a superb day on Ilkley Moor with a group of friends enjoying a day shooting grouse. It was a day spent walking on Heather moors, not the driven sort of shooting, but with a gamekeeper and a few others and some great dogs. The day produced just over 20 brace but was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The game larder was full but not all the birds were shot by us !!!
  22. Thanks nice one !!! It's only taken me two weeks to work out how to do it!!!! give me a gun over a computer any day !!!!
  23. I think I managed to post a picture ........ If I have and it can be seen then I would like to thank Cosd , I would also like to thank my mum, and all the team for the support, my manager and finally god !,!!!!
