In a nutshell the above if he loses his licence he will obviously be deemed unfit to possess! In granting his wife a licence Police would worry that he could gain access to the firearms, very unlikely she would get a SGC in these circumstances only a mate could help. Alan

My grandson's 2 1/2 I love him coming round, but when he arrives it totally destroys your day in a nice way, all your plans go west and you end up regressing to the same age lol pushing cars across your coffee table, making up things lol but he's great because whatever the weather he loves being outside so Im allways taking him for long walks and kicking leaves hitting things with sticks, stones in the river, like I said your day is finished when they arrive. but you will love it. Poxy difficult one, I lost a good friend to this I wouldnt lend money to him said he was desperate, he wanted to go on holiday and was out of work!!!! lol in your dreams. I lent my brother in law 5k when he was needy told him only pay me when he really had the money, I didnt want any stupid agreement ie: 50 pence a week and a cabbage. I see no point in putting time to the loan, he was desperate he didnt need any more pressure, I would add he is my best mate as well even after he and my sister split up. Got my money back ok Nightmare Alan

Many thanks Steve and crossy 666, He uses a Leupold scope VX2 on top of a Tikka .222 rem, no adjustable parallax on it, 12volt I assume? he has some lithium batteries which he uses on his lamping light now so Im sure we can make a fly leads to suit, where did you get the filter from Steve? No the farmer cant be bothered with fiddling trying to make one he just wants to buy it, fit it and shoot lol Thanks again Alan

Are they any good for 200 yards that the max distance to be used, average 60 to 130 yards or do you need add an additional illuminator etc ????? Battery life? Help please Alan

Another 3 foxes with homemade n.v & 22-250
Alanl50 replied to bikemad24's topic in Sporting Pictures
No need to worry about your ticket being open mine isnt either I just supply details of farm, owner/tenants name to my FEO, only takes 3-4 days and it cleared or not Alan -
Leupold for me, good optics , loads of models and any company that put a lifetimes warranty on a product are confident and got my vote, but for a second choice if you on a budget I dont think you could go wrong with Nikko Stirling some damn good scopes for not a lot of money. Alan

When you can shoot pheasant and what with
Alanl50 replied to deaquire's topic in General Shooting Matters
You are perfectly legal to shoot pheasants on your land with your rimfire during the relevent season as quoted above1st Oct till 1st Feb for pheasants, look on the BASC website for game and there seasons, generally no game to be shot on Sundays, your FAC normally says something like Ground Game and Vermin. (possibly now AOLQ.) At least you wont be breaking your teeth with lead shot. Alan
