  1. how about during xmas hols? anyone up for a clay day?
  2. is it imperative to have a 4x4? can we not walk and lamp? has the land been surveyed by the constabulary? if so we wont need an open licence.
  3. Yeah, a born again, pro life anti-abortionist, pigeon fancier, Blessed are the geeks!
  4. got a benelli m3 for sale. replaced it with a franchi spas12.
  5. is he pro life by any chance? anti abortionist, neo- nazi born again christian? i have an ex-friend like that.
  6. common fault with them, a good welder/engineer should be able to tig weld then clean up the rail, i'm 99% sure they were made by HUG-SAN in turkey and were pre hatsan, so edgar bros is your best bet. a friend of mine is a really good engineer, he might be able to help weld the rail up for you, i can pm you his number if you like.
  7. hi there, is it the carrier rail? i knew someone who got theirs welded up. i think they were something to do with hatsan, if they were then check out edgar brothers via your local rfd.
  8. Just looked on my benelli and franchi, neither of them have british proof marks and both have been bought thru GMK, so i cant see how proofing would affect anything. spares might be a pain if its not a uk import model tho. unless it's a home made gun.
  9. A solid dog kennel with integrated run, made from soft wood for sale. the item is used but in good working order,[ no rot present] looking for around £100, best offer secures, dismantle and pick up only i'm afraid PM for details, thanx, gram.
  10. i think that's only on cat"D" writeoffs, cat"B" is a bit more serious. like structural damage, door pillars, chassis, and roof. does it go round corners sideways? if the insurance companies wont insure it then dont buy it.
  11. the 2nd one, files were obviously updated but old info not erased. steer clear of this one my man.
  12. mot doesn't make it right tho, it might be a really good cover up job. The only thing i can advise is speak to either or both the DVLA and insurance company and request detailed classification of what is a CAT"B" write off and can they be repaired. If they can then you will need to go to a ministery inspection centre to get it checked and approved. I wouldn't bother with it though, sounds like more trouble than its worth. did the previous owner have insurance? can you find out from the log book?
  13. Not that i'd want to shoot him of course, i'd probably soil myself first! It's not like shooting rabbits!
  14. If the insurance companies say its a write off then its a write off. the DVLA probably haven't been notified of the seriousness of the damage, this happens quite a lot. THE insurance company dealing with the original claim will have all the details, any chance you could contact them?
  15. About 1 in 4 of us have or will suffer some sort of mental illness varying from mild depression, to a full blown breakdown, and it's quite easy to make an off the cuff remark about offing the bloke without actually having to back this up. But i'm seriously thinking what would i do if i came across a situation like this in my street. we are not all councillors or social workers, and cannot be expected to take control of the situation using words alone, do we dive in unarmed then, and risk death? or run a mile and pretend we didn't see anything. If this happened next door to any of you, what would you do?
  16. hello mate, i only use solvent after about 200 shots, this removes any hard nitro deposits. but give it a brush then a patch till it comes thru clean which is usually twice, after every session to remove any copper deposits.
  17. Its true the first of the mk3s had some major problems, most of which were due to daystate getting in a panic when they started to sell direct to the customer, foregoing rigid quuality checks in favour of getting them out of the door. they have got their act together now tho so happy shopping!
  18. yep, got a point there. two sides to every story, just not sure i'd like to "engage" the man in conversation. i do think that it might have been better for his wife and children if he'd walked off a cliff before he picked up the knife and stabbed them tho, afterall he did try to commit suicide afterwards.
  19. crushed concrete? type 1 crushed granite? the latter is a bit pricey but doesn't move much once its down, crushed concrete is nearly as good but watch out for bits of steel reinforcing. could it be close board fenced after you've levelled the ground?
  20. hello mate, depends on the size of the gap, i made some gates for a friend of mine last year and we had the same problem. used heavy guage rubber matting in the end and this did the trick. it closed up an uneven gap which started at 2" to 7" due to some dodgy asphalt! hope this helps, maybe fixing the rubber to the front and back then fixing the two sheets loosely together would do the job better as your dog is quite a bit bigger.
  21. saw this on the telly earlier, i wish to christ these people would just do the decent thing and walk off a cliff or something. just once i'd like to be in the right place at the right time with the right weapon.
