  1. Sure is a perty bike, not made for the road tho, i'd be too worried about dropping her. wont go to well across a field either, wouldn't having a play though!
  2. hello chaps, thanks for the advice its much appreciated, there's obviosly something not right with it so its going to the gun smiths for a damn good seeing to! the gun seems to work fine for about 50- 100 rounds but does suffer from fouling in the receiver, it doesn't like 2 1/2" rounds at all but will cycle anything on pump mode, its been like this from the very start which is why i've put up with it, only recently i spoke to someone who also owns one and he reckons his is ok. I've tried various oils and greases the best one so far is a "dry lube" which is basically graphite powder but its very messy. thanks again, gram.
  3. apparently this estrogen comes from womens piddle when they're on the pill, anyone fancy a **** up?
  4. guess we'll find out soon enough, cant really imagine a muslim in 14 hole airwear, red laces and braces!
  5. friend of mine wont drink tap water anymore, says that there's a high content of estrogen in tap water that the local authority cant filter out. He says that its given him "bitch tits"! any comments?
  6. i hope i'm not treading on anyones toes here, but, we're already living in a fascist state, take a look back to last summer and the G20 summit [or was it G8] riots outside all the banks headquarters. It wasn't just a coincidence all the riot police weren't wearing their ID numbers. cameras on every street , web sites specifically designed for watching cctv, TV shows sensationalizing police brutality on the front line, anyone else paranoid yet? It doesn't matter who we vote for, the government still reign supreme.
  7. Sold it yet? just joined pigeon watch, have spare slot on fac, also have money, can it be sent from a rfd to my local rfd? i will pay post if need be. thanks
  8. excellent quality scopes, opti mate range are fog , shock and nearly bomb proof. they have a lifetime warranty, this should tell you something about the quality, also made in japan, not china or phillipines. fixed mag best, light transferance better than most, just nowhere near the same price as leupold or zeiss or schmitt, i have 2 and have had no probs, these wont let you down.
  9. i made the mistake of buying a mossberg 12g hush power, not very quiet, did kill well tho, waxing rabbits at 40yds with subsonic cartridges. Went one better and made a moderator for my benelli, got an extended choke and had it threaded, got some very high pressure s/s pipe and drilled some holes in it for the barrel extension then got it polished/ reamed. had 2 plates made from 10mm alli with offset holes to fit on the barrel ext to make the moderator "underslung", this meant that only 3/4 inch of the mod shows above the barrel. then found some 100mm i/d alli tube[ think this came from a boiler flue] which is very thin. Put this all together and it does work very well, the whole thing is 300mm long and 100mm o/d. i've used this with a bipod laying prone for rabbits in the hedgerow with superb results, a bit big and wieldy for flying birds tho, the overall length of barrel with the mod is 37" but it does come apart easy for transport/ regular use. Want one?
  10. hello, when you said too big, take it you mean too long. can you change the butt pad? if this doesn't do it then you'll have to cut it down i'm afraid. this will mean re finishing the stock again but shouldn't cost anything more than your time. Hope this helps.
  11. Hi, just joined and could do with some help/info for my benelli m3. has anyone else had problems with cycling lighter/ eley loads? mine will chew thru magnums and heavy loads all day, but jams up as soon as i even show it an eley cartridge! just wondering if i should just put up with it and use the pump or can it be 'fixed'. also, got another slot on my fac for another shotgun, can anyone recommend a semi for less than a grand? thanks!
  12. I had some major probs with mine, like not ejecting unspent rounds from the breech[22lr] and the last round sticking in the mag[17hmr] sako not that good for the money, only good thing about them is the gun fit, my cz seems like a small kids toy when compared to sako. had the 22 sorted but cost me a few quid, 17 mag got replaced free. made a new stock for the cz TRG42 stylee! and dont bother with the sako 22 barrel. the scope they made specifically for the quad is a piece of **** too, too complicated to set up and not v ery good light transferance, ended up with an edgar brothers opti mate fixed mag sniper scope which i have to say is better than leupold i used to own. As you may have guessed i'm not too happy with GMK, over rated and over priced.
  13. Hello, just joined and was wondering if there's many of you out there who've had problems with benelli semi's. I bought mine about 2 years ago, and although it will chew on magnums and certain heavy loads all day long, it tends to jam up on 30g loads and anything "eley" . I've now got another slot on my fac for shot gun, can any one recommend a more cartridge friendly semi for under a grand? thanks! hasn't been shot much, and i've just tried some RC 30g 6's and they were fine, so maybe its just a fussy eater. Also been told that i should use 70mm cartridges or bigger. thanks for your advice.
