  1. Hello smcgreg1, i had an afgan hound that fit the bill, careful what you wish for cos she liked to use her teeth!!! B)
  2. hilary swank and a big tub of grease! oh, and some jaffa cakes, a multi pack..
  3. B) I think its something to do with karma, i remember when i was 8yrs old i bought an old raleigh runabout [ with the pedals, had to ride it like a push bike to start it, remember them!] and i was too scared to take it home, anyway i left it in a cow shed in the farm up the road and someone kiked it! the swine! so i think this is karma just paying me back...
  4. hello, treat it just the same as a normal stock, ive never used tru oil, whats it like? You may find that it wont absorb as much oil as a walnut stock, but this doesn't matter it'll just get finished sooner.
  5. Norfolk sporting guns are good, i always geta good deal from them, very helpful and good advice. best p/x prices in the region, and good discounts on almost everything. Nelsons of norwich are quite helpful, cheapest cartridges i've seen.
  6. Nice one! plenty of rust on this zed tho, surprisingly it still works! had a chat with the previous owner and he told me he put it in there about 12 years ago and forgot all about it.
  7. just found a zed 650 in someones barn. whats the best/weirdest thing you've found?
  8. Churchills of dereham are pretty bad, last time i went in there was to p/x a hushpower 12g mossberg. the ***** kept me waiting for over an hour just to offer me a ridiculous price on a p/x for a 22/250 that he had in the shop for over a year. A real smug slimy ***. needless to say, didn't do any deal and went to norfolk sporting guns instead, much better, offered £150 more for mine, got discount off winchester mod 70 coyote light and scope, and got bases and weaver mounts free. Just a little more about churchills, i work part time in a small gun shop in norwich, and we seem to get an awful lot of people come in with guns that originally came from there with some serious faults.
  9. Thats it, ive had enough! I'm starting upa Ronnie biggs appreciation society.
  10. Got to hand it to him tho, he's a crafty old ******! By the way harnser, did you see on the news about that bloke who used to run baguette express in the city? killed two people at the weekend! I was in there last week, thought i recognised the face.
  11. Who cares! if they're giving away cheap chocolate!Mmmm...
  12. its mostly to do with the exchange rate between the £ and the euro, as the pound has lost nearly 30% of its value. also metal prices have risen. Finally its GMK, they deliberately over price their products. For example... sako hunter .22lr in february cost me £670, now its over £700, this is a direct price increase imposed by gmk to increase their profit.
  13. NO gaps allowed, rather than cut skirting, i fitted mine above the skirting and sat the cabinet on top of a plinth which i fixed to the floor first, then fixed more skirting round it, they were happy with that.
  14. hi there! not much difference in barrel lengths there [ they're both short] it all depends on your shooting style, if you tend to line up the barrel and follow through with the shot then neither of these guns is ideal. If your chosen style is "poke and hope" then either one will suffice as quick snap shots will be a doddle once you've mastered it, what you may find is that the target will be aquired quicker, but you may find it hard to stay on target if you delay taking the shot. the choice is yours, but you may want to consider a longer barrel [28"] first, or just try one before you buy cos they ain't cheap are they. hope this helps...
  15. got roly birkin off the fast show for a message alert"HE WAS WELSH" cant post it on here cos i dont know how!
  16. oops! i'm a bit of a ****** for ring tones, got the damned "brand new rose" set at the minute, had dead kennedys to drunk to **** on there too! I guess you will just have to admit it... you're a grumpy old soandso...
  17. most firearms officers prefer the 17hmr as there is less chace of ricochet, i was very impressed with mine, only disadvantage is they tend to vere off course easily, long grass is a problem. otherwise a good caliber. 22 lr a bit slower but no less accurate, also several different types eg, shorts, cb longs ,subs, velocitors etc etc... rabbits tend to be inedible and unsaleable when shot with 17 hmr, your choice... sak mod will do for either caliber as they're only rim fires.
  18. Dont agree with the death penalty, too easy to be manipulated by the powers that be, its just wrong diddly wrong! Just my personal opinion. But can you honestly say you trust the government enough to deal with an issue like this?
  19. Could be forced into joining the regiment, shipped out to afgan or somewhere, and then left in the mountains i suppose. yeah bring back national service for guys like this and use them as bait! Or bayonet practice...
  20. Mine's got nothing to do with my coke stash, its just a nickname short for graham. year of birth ....
  21. he wouldn't last 2 minutes in the scots guards, i don't think he'll last too long in clink either, with any luck....
  22. What about wild cherry? great 70's black funk sound, shame they look like clones of leo sayer! Thinking about it, What about leo sayer? looks like that great 70's funk band Black cherry, sounds like ****!
  23. make your own with sticky tape and a big coke bottle! seriously tho give the saddlery a bell, they pretty much know everything. I made my mod for a benelli, and to be honest it wasn't cheap.
  24. A friend of mine is toying with the idea of selling his kwaka ZXR400, i'm sure if you waved some notes under his nose he could be persuaded. The chap in question lives near norwich, is this to far away? it's a lovely little bike that doesn't feel too small to ride. reply back if this sounds ok to you and i'll PM you his number.
