  1. Dodo juice stuff is worth a look. They do some good shampoos and polishes. Check out the detailingworld forum if you want advise and to see examples of car cleaning taken to the extreme. Washing wise its worth using the 2 bucket method. Your soapy water in one bucke and plain water in the rinse bucket. Soap up the mitt (don't use a sponge they trap grit against the surface of the paint) wash the panel and then rinse in the plain water bucket. Then back to the soapy one. Means most of the stuff coming off the car goes in the rinse bucket and stays there rather than dirtying up the washing water so you're just rearranging the dirt!

    new phone

You have more freedom to customise stuff in android. I went from an iPhone to a Galaxy SII and don't regret it but just get whatever takes your fancy. They're both phones at the end of the day and they're not really THAT different!
  3. Yes, it does. Basically strip down the gun, remove the bolt handle and bolt from the action and then use the bolt handle to drive the two pins out of the action. They can be a bit tight if it's a new gun. Once they're out just pull the trigger guard down and the whole lot should come out.
  4. Just had a quick scan of the manual and it doesn't give instructions. Found this on another forum. "Once the trigger assembly is out you pull out the hair pin and slide the safety out. You then pull out the small pin and replace the small pin on the opposite side. Put the safety in backwards and put the hair pin on the opposite side."

    Ipad2 vs ipad3

http://arstechnica.com/#!/apple/news/2012/01/next-gen-ipad-rumors-start-up-upgraded-cameras-slightly-thicker-body.ars Sorry if the link doesn't work properly. Pasted it from my phone. Has details about rumoured changes and prices are at the bottom (but in dollars so just change it to a £ sign!)
  7. Yes you can. Instructions are in the instructions. You can download the full set from the US site.
  8. The bear in the high seat vid looks like a naughty child when it looks up at him lol.
  9. You don't! Extreme sports people break loads of bones!
  10. I use AccuWeather on Android. Don't know if it's available on iPhone but it's a good App. Gives you a detailed day forecast (2hr intervals I think) and then a weekly one by day.
  11. The forcing cones are matt on my 682. Different finish to the chambers and rest of barrel.
  12. Generally you only get "driving other cars" cover if you're over 25. As has been said, naming each other will be the safest bet.
  13. If it takes light 600 years to reach it then I don't think it's worth us sending anything. We'll have forgotten what we sent by the time it gets there!
  14. We had a real one last year. Only cost £10, was about 6ft tall and was still green and had dropped hardly any needles when we moved it outside after christmas. A mate worked somewhere where they grew them so we went out in the plantation, picked the one we wanted and cut and bagged it there and then. Think that seems to be the key for them to last, straight from the field into a pot with water. The problem with trees from garden centres etc is you never know how long they've been stood for and I've never seen any stood in water!
  15. Linfords in Market Deeping. Awesome fish and chips and they do really nice curry sauce too!

    My Dads car

That's awesome! Was worried he was going to keel over though!
  17. That figure may be a bit conservative for a gaming rig running multiple HD's and dual graphics cards. 750w+ PSU's are not uncommon.
  18. 250 amp draw sounds a bit extreme for a car amp. Most car amps have 30/40 amp fuses in. Just looked at a pc power supply and it can supply 34 amps through the 12v rail. I'm not an electrician but modern PC's draw a lot of power. The supplies generally have thermal cut outs etc built in so it should prevent itself from overloading and catching fire.
  19. 12v power supply, possibly a PC power supply to run the amp. You would need to use a line-out or similar from your stereo to the inputs on the amp and then it'll be a load of fiddling about to get levels right.

Paying attention to how other men look sounds a bit suspect to me...
  21. I'd work on the principle that if they're changing the price then they're altering the terms of the contract and have to give you the option of terminating it. Think Sky do the same, if they change the price then they have to give you the option of terminating even if you're within a 12/24m contract.

    Give Blood

I've given blood before but got a tattoo a little while ago so have to have a year off. Will go back to it when I can though as we have a blood bus that comes to work.
  23. Any penalty points on your licence will affect your insurance premium with the majority of insurers. If it's a fixed penalty then the piece of paper they gave you should say "fixed penalty notice" or something similar. There are various SP codes depending on the speed limit you were caught in but all fixed penalty codes that I know of are two letters and two numbers.
